I played the Pals Paper Arts Sketch Challenge 308 this week, using a beautiful sketch designed by Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator Ann Schach. I used Tip Top Taupe cardstock for the base, and then added a layer of textured Pumpkin Pie card stock from the May Paper Pumpkin Kit. I love the added dimension! I embossed the large floral design from the Flourishing Phrases Stamp Set with my FAVORITE Copper Embossing Powder on Chocolate Chip card stock. Doesn’t it add a rich finish to this earth-toned card? The sentiment is from Flourishing Phrases set as well. I finished the card with a combination of copper metallic thread and twine.
What a beautiful card. Those colors are great together, not the black and white we all seem to use at these times. Found this on Mary Fish’s blog.

Love that beautiful embossed flourish! You’re right, those colors are so rich and really set off the copper flourish. Thanks for joining us at the Pals Paper Arts this week!
