Welcome to the Pals Blog Hop for September 2016. We are thankful you stopped by to take a look at our new 2016 Blog Hop monthly themes. This month our projects represent our favorite year end Season. It may be Autumn, Winter, Halloween, Thanksgiving or Christmas (and maybe even a combination!) We hope to provide you with lots of ideas and that you enjoy our creations.
You may just be starting the Blog Hop or may have come from the previous link from the Line-up on the Pals Blog Hop listing shown below. The full lineup will help you move along from blog to blog so you may see all the projects.
In my home, my annual Christmas tree is decorated with copper ornaments. I love the copper tones against the dark evergreen branches and the white sparkly lights. This card is inspired by my tree — when I saw the new Twinkle Trees stamp set (#142173), I thought of a modern, whimsical card using the Copper Stampin’ Emboss Powder (#141636) to make round copper ornaments — simple and clean.
The background paper with copper dots is from the gorgeous Petals and Paisleys Specialty Designer Series Paper (#142017). The copper dots coordinate with the copper ornaments beautifully, in my opinion!
The green paper with the simple retro-feel snowflakes is found in This Christmas Designer Series Specialty Paper (#141628). The tree is stamped in Garden Green to coordinate.
I topped it all off with the copper metallic thread. The entire card shines with my favorite metallic tone — copper!
