I created this gift box with a darling bonus CARD on the outside, inspired by a reel from Melissa Faust. Wouldn’t this be fun to gift to someone, perhaps with cute tissue paper and a gift card? Or how about giving someone a cute set of thank-you cards or notecards?

I focused on the beautiful Painted Lavender Bundle and Perennial Lavender DSP.
- Cut a piece of 7 3/4” x 12” DSP. Watch if there is a pattern that you make sure the pattern goes up and down on the 12″ side.
- Score on long side at 4 1/2, 5 1/2, 10, 11”
- Score on short side at 1 and 6 3/4”
- Burnish all the score lines and then put the box together — watch the reel to get a better idea of how it goes together. https://www.facebook.com/reel/731134378825011
- Next you make the card! Cut Gorgeous Grape cardstock to 8 1/2 by 4 1/4,” and fold it in half
- Cut a panel of Highland Heather cardstock at 4 x 4” and Basic White 3 3/4 x 3 3/4
- Stamp and decorate the Basic White panel before adhering both panels to the card base.
- Add a Paper Butterfly accent after using a small Blending Brush to color it in with Highland Heather and Gorgeous Grape. Add some Faceted Gems, and you are done!
I know the reel goes quickly, but it gives a good peek at how the box goes together. You can even stop and start the reel if you’d like! I hope you enjoyed this fun gift box using the Painted Lavender Bundle and Perennial Lavender DSP. All the products I used can be found below. Click on one to start shopping with me!
