Today I have a sneak peek on some gorgeous designer papers that will be available starting May 1 in the new Stampin’ Up! Annual Catalog. The Thoughtful Journey 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Papers feature beautiful scenes in rich colors with a watercolor effect. The papers will be available in a stack of 48 papers, 4 each of 12 double-sided designs, each one more beautiful than the next! The 12″ x 12″ Thoughtful Designs Specialty Designer Series Papers come in five colors of a shiny leaf pattern, coordinating beautifully with the Thoughtful Journey papers. Here are four cards I made using the same measurements and layout (thanks to Mary Deatherage for the inspiration)!

Aren’t those papers pretty? And that’s just four designs out of TWELVE! I started with card bases of Mossy Meadow, Boho Blue, Wild Wheat, and Calypso Coral. I cut panels of the Thoughtful Designs Specialty papers at 4 1/4″ by 3 1/2″. For the Thoughtful Journey papers, I used one of the Deckled Rectangles dies and situated the die on the portion of the paper I wanted to use to create my scene.

The stamp set for the sentiments is a new set called “Unbounded Love,” which will debut in the New Annual Catalog, going live on May 1. It includes some very nice sentiments for the inside of your card as well.

I taped the specialty paper down, and then stamped a sentiment on each of the Thoughtful Journey papers before popping up onto the card using Stampin’ Dimensionals. I finished each card with three various embellishments. So many options and possibilities with these papers! And you can get them on Monday, May 1 when the new Annual Catalog goes live!

Bath & Body Works hand creams make a wonderful hostess, teacher or co-worker gift. I used a combination of new and retired product to create this fun little gift packaging. The design is from the Paper Pixie, Julie DiMatteo, who always creates such fun 3D projects. Click HERE for the complete instructions!

Here are my projects, featuring a brand new set of papers called Unbounded Beauty Designer Series Papers, featured very soon in the new Annual Catalog which goes live on May 1. The papers feature the beautiful new 2024-26 In Colors.

Inside each of these is a Bath & Bodyworks hand cream — a perfect little gift. I used the retired Scalloped Tag Topper Punch, but whatever you want to use for the top is great. The sentiment is from the Online Exclusive Heartfelt Hexagon Stamp Set. I used an Oval punch to cut out each one. The sentiments were stamped in either Shy Shamrock or Petunia Pop.

The ribbon I used at the top of each gift package is also retired (always good to use up the old product, especially this pretty White Iridescent!) As far as adhesives, I used a double row of Tear n Tape on the long side seam, and Tombow glue on the bottoms.

I hope you’ve enjoyed my project today. I can’t wait to show you more from the new catalog. You’re going to love it!

I just had to share my beautiful April Paper Pumpkin kit – If you’ve been on the fence about subscribing, the April and May kits (post coming up soon) will put you over the top! The April kit had all the ingredients to make nine cards — three of three different designs — and included some beautiful wooden elements. First I made three card exactly per instructions:

Isn’t that paper beautiful? Well, the fun part of Paper Pumpkin kits is that I can make all NINE cards exactly as instructed, OR I can take the kit and make all kinds of alternative projects. For example, if you look at the first card with the white daisies, I actually cut these card bases in half because the daisy field goes on both sides of the card. From there, I made some additional projects using a few extra products. Take a look at the daisy cards — I was able to make four more of them because of the half cards. Here are three:

From there, here are a couple more alternates from the other card bases:

Two of the sentiments are from a brand new stamp set coming out on May 1 in the new Annual Catalog, called the Unbounded Love Bundle. Wait until you see the collection of beautiful sentiments! Also, I used the Hexagon Punch and the Heartfelt Hexagon stamp set for two of the sentiments.
