The Flowering Zinnias have been SO hot! In fact, the bundle and DSP were not available for awhile, but now they are back, and I’m getting another pack of DSP while I can! You’ve seen the beautiful colors of this paper – so striking for spring and summer. They’re an Online Exclusive, so remember to go online here to see all of the products offered ONLINE ONLY. Today I am going to share two cards I made with Stampin’ Blends and the Flowering Zinnia bundle:
These cards both started with a Basic White card base and then DSP from the Zinnia collection. On the top card, I used two panels (any size that you prefer), one embossed with the Zinnia 3D Embossing Folder.
I stamped two bouquets from the Simply Zinnia Stamp Set using Memento Ink, and then used my Stampin’ Blends to color them in. This is SO fun! I used light and dark shades to blend the petals, and then used some contrasting colors as well. The sky’s the limit! I then cut out the bouquets with the coordinating dies in the bundle. So easy!
The sentiments are both from the Simply Zinnias Stamp Set. And I topped off the cards with a few Self-Adhesive Sparkling Sequins. The twine I used in both cards is retired — I have to sometimes use up what I have, right?

I had a ton of Easter fun creating with the Excellent Eggs Bundle, and will keep it in my stash for a very long time. BUT it’s retiring soon, so now is the time to snatch it up! Stamp, then cut out Easter eggs and bunnies for cards and gift tags in minutes. Combine stamp images and dies to create colorful and dimensional accents to welcome Easter and the arrival of spring!
The dies are especially fun with this bundle. You can build eggs like the ones above by cutting out a number of egg dies in different colors, and then just mixing and matching. I recently made two cards using the Simply Zinnia bundle and fun fold from Patty Bennett – a simple flap fold card. SO easy and fun, and my Up North Stampin’ Facebook Gang also posted their own cards using this fun fold. Here is one, and then I’ll show you an alternate design:
Supplies/Measurements:
A2 card base (5 1/2” by 8 1/2”, scored at 4 1/4”)
A panel of DSP cut at 5 1/4” by 4”
A second panel of coordinating DSP cut to 3” by 4”
A third panel of coordinating DSP (different from the other 2) cut in 4” by 5 1/4” for inside of card
A Basic White cardstock panel approx. 3 x 4” for inside of card
Dies, ribbon, stamped sentiment, embellishments — whatever you want to use for finishing!
Directions:Fold down the top corner of the DSP wherever you’d like, no need to measure the fold or the angle. Tuck the 3″ by 4″ DSP in before adhering down, making sure it lines up at the top. Use a glue dot to secure the flap, and adhere the front DSPs to the card base.
Use the third piece of DSP for the inside, with the small white panel adhered on top of it to write on. Finish the front with diecuts, a sentiment panel — whatever you’d like. I used the Zinnia Dies and cut out three different petal dies — one in Pumpkin Pie, one in Melon Mambo, and then Petal Pink. I layered those and added a flower center in Lemon Lolly and leaves in Lemon Lime Twist. I added some Adhesive Backed Shiny Sequins, and I was done!
Here is a similar card with the same set of DSP — and a little different placement of my diecut Zinnia. Which do you like better?
Each of these cards uses a three different panels (or sides) of the NEW Designer Series Paper — Flowering Zinnias DSP. I just LOVE the colors and designs.
In both cards, I simply let the paper do all the work.

One of the items is a brand new stamp set with just sentiments, called Sweetly Scripted. This one will be in my stash for a very long time. The sentiments are so so lovely, and can be used for many occasions! Here are the two cards, using new papers that are also Online Exclusives:

Each of these cards uses a panel of NEW Designer Series Papers — A Little Latte DSP, and Flowering Zinnias DSP. They’re both already on my crafting table, and I just LOVE the colors and designs.
In both cards I simply let the paper do allllll the work. I heat embossed the sentiments in white embossing powder. Do you like to emboss? If you haven’t tried it, you should — it really adds another element to your papercrafting.
