Welcome to the Stampin’ Pretty Pals’ Blog Hop! This month, the theme is the New 2023-2025 In Colors. We hope you will be inspired by all the creations the Pals share with you! You will find the lineup at the end of my post to help you “hop” along from Pal to Pal.

We were all excited for the official unveiling of the new 2023-25 In Colors in the new Stampin’ Up! Annual Catalog, and the anticipation did not disappoint. Five new colors, beautifully rich and muted! Which is your fave, or do you give them all equal love?

For today’s Blog Hop, I chose to focus on one particular In-Color as a fresh option for a neutral background color: Pebbled Path. I just LOVE how beautifully this color works with so many other colors — it’s not too gray, it’s not too brown, it’s not too taupe, it’s not too ANYTHING! It’s perfect! Here’s the card I built using Pebbled Path as my card base, along with Flirty Flamingo and Soft Seafoam:

Measurements: 

• Pebbled Path Card Base:  5 1/2″ by 8 1/2″
• 2023-25 In Color DSP for front of card:  3/4″ by 5 1/4″
• Exposed Brick Embossing Folder on Pebbled Path DSP:  3 ” by 5 1/4″
• Basic White cardstock for inside card panel: 5 1/4″ by 4″

This stamp set and dies bundle, Translucent Florals, will be available in the upcoming Mini Catalog, coming out later this summer. I thought it would be fun to create some projects to give a sneak peek to customers, and get myself acclimated. The beautiful stamps are different, in that they create a ‘translucent’ effect with a darker outline around the flowers and leaves. I just love it!

After creating the card base, I embossed the larger panel of cardstock with the Exposed Brick 3D Embossing folder. I adhered to the front of the card, along with the strip of DSP in the same color. I then stamped my bouquet of translucent flowers on some scrap pieces of Basic White cardstock. The flowers are stamped in Flirty Flamingo, and leaves in Soft Seafoam, and the small accent piece in Pebbled Path.

I cut them all using the coordinating dies, and built my bouquet on the card front, using Stampin’ Dimensionals for some of the flowers. I stamped the sentiment from the stamp set and cut out using the Deckled Rectangles dies. I used the smallest die, and then cut it again to fit snugly around the sentiment. I popped on some In Color Dots, and I was done!

I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again…you don’t have to buy everything in the catalog to enjoy the different designer series papers. The “Let’s Go Fishing” DSP is a prime example. I used one of the awesome designs and a very appropriate sentiment to create a ‘congratulations’ card for my stepdaughter on her recents master’s degree in Environmental Studies.

I started with a Very Vanilla card stock card base, and then added a panel of Old Olive measuring 5 1/4″ by 4″. I then cut a panel of DSP at 5 1/8″ by 3 7/8″ . Before adhering the DSP to the card front, I wrapped some Natural 1/4″ Wavy Trim twice around the paper, anchoring it at the back.

From there I used one of the Stylish Shapes dies to cut out a stitched square and stamp a sentiment from the new Layering Leaves stamp set in Old Olive ink. This set has the best sentiments for many occasions, and I love the font!

I finished off with some Adhesive Backed Solid Gems from the new catalog, and I was done. Simple, yet so fun for my stepdaughter who LOVES fish. Here’s a cute pic of her as an added bonus!

If you’re one of those paper crafters who adores kraft paper, you’re going to love this month’s step-ups. What’s so great about kraft? Its special appeal may be due to its ability to impart instant, shabby chic sophistication to anything you’re creating—which is interesting! Kraft’s humble beginnings would not have led anyone to guess that it would one day be valued for its natural, organic beauty. In fact, its toughness and coarse texture historically made it a perfect choice for grocery wrapping paper and all-around, heavy-duty packaging.

Today we’re showing off our Kraft Note Cards & Envelopes with our new Cheerful Daisies Bundle, but feel free to match up these beautiful cards with anything you love in the catalog! It’s hard to go wrong with this amazing, versatile paper.

CASUAL
To create the casual card, stamp the flower tops in White Craft ink, the flower centers in Early Espresso, and the stems in Old Olive ink. Stamp the sentiment with White Craft ink on a small piece of Early Espresso Cardstock, sprinkle it with white embossing powder, and heat set. Position a Linen Thread bow behind the sentiment banner before adhering it to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

AVID
For this version, layer Vellum petal die cuts over the stamped daisies. Stamp the leaves on a kraft envelope in Old Olive ink and die cut. Color the Linen Thread with a Dark Olive Blend for added pizzazz. Finish with gold sequins from our new Neutrals Adhesive-Backed Sequins.

ARTFULLY AVID
For our most stepped-up project, we decorated the lovely Kraft Note Cards & Envelopes box. Use it for storing cards or better yet—over-the-top gift packaging! We added to the pretty floral focal point by die cutting some of the daisies with a circle die cut from the Stylish Shapes Dies, then popping it up with Stampin’ Dimensionals. Stunning!
