Welcome to the Stampin’ Pretty Pals’ Blog Hop! This month, the theme is “Wonderful Cards/Projects from the Garden,” where our design team showcase projects from things found in a garden, such as flowers, vegetables, fruits, or even a garden scene. We really hope that you enjoy and will be inspired by them! As you hop from blog to blog, don’t forget to leave comments because we love hearing from you. The bold and bright sunflower strikes a dramatic pose in a late summer garden, sure to be noticed! My project uses a returning favorite: the Celebrate Sunflowers stamp set with coordinating Sunflowers Dies, found in the new Stampin’ Up! Annual Catalog. I chose to update these fun products with some bright and modern twists.

To create this project, I first embossed the front of a Polish PInk card base with the Tasteful Textile 3D Embossing Folder. I also cut a 1 1/8″ X 4 3/4″ panel of the “Expressions in Ink” Designer Series Paper, and embossed it with the same embossing folder, adhering it to the front of the card base. I then used a square of Polish Pink 2021-23 In-Color Shimmer Vellum to heat emboss the detailed sunflower image with white embossing. It’s hard to photograph, but the shimmery vellum and white embossing create a beautiful effect! I cut that out with the coordinating die and backed it with a sunflower die cut in basic white cardstock, to ensure a true Polish Pink embossed image. I also cut out a detailed sunflower in Gold Foil.

These detailed stamps create a beautiful sunflower image, especially when used with the dies!

I adhered the gold foil sunflower to the cardbase, and then popped the pink sunflower near the gold one. I cut out three leaves from the Sunflower dies, using a coordinating sheet of Expressions in Ink DSP — I love the gold veining! From there, I stamped a sentiment from the stamp set with a Basic White strip, and made an angled cut on each side, popping that up with Stampin’ Dimensionals as well. I used a Mini Glue Dot to add my darling Bumblebee Trinket, and I was done!

Recently, on the Facebook Demonstrator Planning Place, we had the opportunity to take have a virtual class called the PICK SIX WONDER CLASS. We learned how to use six 6″ x 6″ pieces of our beautiful Designer Series Papers to create 14 A2 cards. It was SO much fun! I used papers from the Pansy Petals Designer Series Papers. We actually created five different designs. Here are my cards:

I have to admit it….I can’t afford everything — I WISH I could buy the entire Stampin’ Up! catalog, but alas….I cannot. SO — one thing I love to do is use Stampin’ Up!’s gorgeous Designer Specialty Papers to create cards. Take a look at these simple and beautiful sympathy cards made with the Beauty of the Earth Designer Specialty Papers! Here are two sympathy cards I made today:

See that beautiful watercoloring? THAT’S THE PAPER! I simply added a card base, and a coordinating panel of cardstock, and the paper does the rest. I love the soft and soothing shades of Merry Merlot, Misty Moonlight, and Cinnamon Cider. Here’s what the entire set of paper looks like. They’re stunning:

Do you see the one pattern I chose for my card? It’s right there, and all you have to do is cut it! And the best part? There is a Designer Series Paper Sale going on this month of July! Go HERE to see all the papers that are 15% off!

I used Cinnamon Cider for one card base, and Basic White for another Card base. The Misty Moonlight and Merry Merlot panels were cut at 5 1/4″ by 4″. Then I simply cut a panel of the DSP at 3 7/8″ by 5 1/8″. I adhered the two panels to the card base. The sentiment is from an older Sale-A-Bration stamp set called Heal Your Heart. I backed each sentiment panel with a little slice of coordinating cardstock, and popped them up with Stampin’ Dimensionals after having attached a few rounds of linen thread to the back. The embellishments are from the Elegant Faceted Gems. All the products I used for this project can be found at the bottom of this post.

One of my favorite bundles from the new catalog is the Sweet as a Peach Bundle! Here’s a simple project I created!

I used two of the Scalloped Contours dies to make a layered background, using the sweet Peach papers. Aren’t they yummy?

This Peach bundle is so so cute — take a look at the stamps and coordinating dies:

I cut out a sentiment die from the Tasteful Labels dies, and stamped some small peaches and leaves on the label.

I popped the label up with some Stampin’ Dimensionals, and then finished off with a bow tied with the beautiful sheer 2021-23 In Color 3/8″ ribbon. The two gems are Genial Gems. Love them! And that’s it! Super easy and fresh! I hope you’ll give a serious look to The Sweet as a Peach Suite — it’s a MUST for summer, that’s for sure!!

June’s Paper Pumpkin kit just arrived at my house, so I thought I’d show you what all the hubbub is about!

The “Expressions In Color” June Paper Pumpkin came in a special box — its focus is on the five new 2021-23 Stampin’ Up! In Colors! Doesn’t it make you want to open it?

The kit is always enclosed in tissue, and we always get a stamp set and a Stampin’ Spot. In fact, this time, we got TWO Spots — one in Bumblebee and one in Evening Evergreen.

The stamp sets are great, because I can always use them for other projects as well! The instructions are in full color, and are shrink wrapped with the entire kit. You can see that this kit will make nine cards! Six are the regular A2 sized, and three are notecard sized. Yay!

And when I opened the shrink wrap, I find ALL the ingredients I need to create these fun and beautiful cards, AND there are always some extra supplies left over!

And here is am alternative design I did with some other ingredients. That’s the joy of Paper Pumpkin — you can make as instructed, or be creative and create your own designs! This card was inspired by Katie Brown with SeaBreeze Stamping with Katie. I used a card base of Fresh Freesia, and added to that a panel of Fresh Freesia Designer Series Paper. The gold accents are from the EXPRESSIONS IN INK EPHEMERA PACK, found in the new Stampin’ Up! annual catalog.
