A NEW ONLINE SHOPPING EXPERIENCE LAUNCHES TODAY! 

Exciting News!!  Starting TOMORROW, Aug. 4, 2020,  Stampin’ Up! is updating the look and function of the online store!  The store will be updated beginning TOMORROW on August 4th with a new look and feel to help you better navigate it while you shop!  Here is what you need to know so that you’re all set to shop on the 4th!

What else is so exciting about August 4?  It’s the same day as the 2020 Holiday catalog goes live!  Please be aware that the online store will be offline temporarily early on August 4 as they transition to the new store.  It should be back up and running no later than 7:00 AM MT for ordering from the new August-December 2020 Mini Catalog!

DO NOT FORGET about your Bonus Days Rewards.  When you make your online order in August, there will be a place for you to type in the codes you received in an email direct from Stampin’ Up!  Those $5 codes are good for AUGUST only, so cash them in!

A few things to know about the new :

1. Your account information and passwords will still work with the new site.

   • If you don’t know your login information by heart (or if you do like I do and have it saved to your browser so that you don’t have to remember it every time):
     • Log into your SU! account today and click on “my account” and then “email/passwords” and either record the information that is shown or, if it’s not shown, update your password and then write it down.
2. While old bookmarks and links will forward you to the new store, your browser will see it as a “new” site. If you rely on your browser to remember your login information, the first time that you log in, it will not associate the new site with that saved information.
3. Be sure that you see my name at the top on the right when you are shopping with me to earn my rewards and benefits for ordering! 😉

If you have trouble logging in on Tuesday:

1. Once the new store is up and running on Tuesday, if you have trouble logging in, you can click the “Forgot Password” link on the new online store’s sign-in page and follow the steps to reset your password. The password reset email will come from noreply@info.stampinup.com. Adding this email address to the contacts list in your email program and/or searching for your email program’s spam settings can help you ensure that you receive the email.

4. If you have trouble accessing your account, Stampin’ Up! can also help you reset your password.  Just call them at 1-800-STAMPUP and they’ll be happy to help!  Unfortunately, I’m not able to assist with password changes as it’s a security issue for you. But Stampin’ Up! can definitely help you!

I received the BIRTHDAY-themed stamp set from Stampin’ Up! that I’ve been waiting for, called HAPPIEST OF BIRTHDAYS, so I made a couple of simple cards to show how one big beautiful sentiment can absolutely MAKE a card!  This simple design is so fun, and can be replicated using any of your favorite Designer Series Papers, and any ribbon.  Here are my cards:

So fun and bright, and yes, easy!  This stamp set will be a staple when it comes to sending birthday cards, which I’ve been trying to do more these days…after all, who doesn’t like getting a handmade birthday hug in the mail?  Here are the sentiments — can you see how you can put them with any paper, any dies, and create a card in no time?

I used the Artistry Blooms Designer Series Papers on both cards, and then cut out a scalloped rectangle on which to stamp my big beautiful sentiment.

Hello, welcome to the Stampin’ Pretty Pals’ Blog Hop! This month our Design Team is showcasing “Gifts From the Garden.” We hope you enjoy and will be inspired by them! Don’t forget to leave comments! A trellis adds visual interest to any garden, as it brings the eye upward and creates a color-filled backdrop. My mom has a beautiful Clematis that graces a trellis on the side of her home.  I used this recent photo of her trellis as the inspiration for my fun fold card this month.

This Diagonal Fun Fold is a design by Lisa Curcio.  You can learn more about how to create the project at this Video Link.  Lisa explains it much better than I can!  This is how it looks closed up:

I used the brick background paper from the In Good Taste Designer Series Paper. The papers are so realistic, the brick looks like it’s 3D!  A second sheet of Early Espresso cardstock was adhered to the back of the DSP.  Once adhered together, I cut and scored the paper according to Lisa’s instructions as follows:

From there I simply built my card! I stamped and then punched out petals from the Floral Essence stamp set in Gorgeous Grape ink using Gorgeous Grape card stock.  I adhered sets of the petals together to make flowers.  I also stamped many leaves in Garden Green ink and punched them out using the retired Leaf Punch as well as a few with the Sprig Punch.  I placed the flowers and the leaves as if they were growing up a trellis on a brick wall!  It was fun!

This punch and stamp set, although no longer a bundle, are keepers. I do love a punch when it comes to saving time!

Both sentiments are from the Peaceful Moments stamp set, and both were cut out using a die from the Stitched So Sweetly dies.  I just love this set of dies — I find myself reaching for them time after time!

I finished off my flowers with the 2020-22 In Color Enamel Dots.  I hope you enjoyed my card that is a tribute to my mother’s lovely garden!  The supply list for this project can be found at the very bottom of this post.
