Sympathy with a Copper Flourish

I played the Pals Paper Arts Sketch Challenge 308 this week, using a beautiful sketch designed by Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator Ann Schach.  I used Tip Top Taupe cardstock for the base, and then added a layer of textured Pumpkin Pie card stock from the May Paper Pumpkin Kit.  I love the added dimension!  I embossed the large floral design from the Flourishing Phrases Stamp Set with my FAVORITE Copper Embossing Powder on Chocolate Chip card stock.  Doesn’t it add a rich finish to this earth-toned card? The sentiment is from Flourishing Phrases set as well.  I finished the card with a combination of copper metallic thread and twine.

  1. The copper embossing is beautiful. Very elegant sympathy card. Thanks for playing along with us this week at PPA.

  2. Love that beautiful embossed flourish! You’re right, those colors are so rich and really set off the copper flourish. Thanks for joining us at the Pals Paper Arts this week!
