I loved the look of the tag pictured on p. 8 of the Holiday Catalog (bottom left). So I decided to make it into a full-sized A2 card. The Stampin’ Up! catalogs are full of great ideas that we can CASE (Copy and Share Everything). I’ve made a few changes to the original, and I love the look of it.

My card uses the Dashing Deer Thinlits Dies – I love all the different deer silhouettes, and I know you will, too. I started with a base of Very Vanilla to which I added some panels of DSP — the snowflake paper is retired, but any holiday DSP you want to add will be great. The measurements are 3 1/2″ by 4 3/4″. I added a square of plaid DSP from the Festive Farmhouse papers. I then cut out a circle using the Stitched Shape framelits in a wood grain from the Wood Textures DSP.
The deer is cut out in Basic Black and popped up on dimensionals. I added a couple of sprigs of pine. I stamped the sentiment from the Merry Christmas to All stamp set in Cherry Cobbler. Simple! And I love all the layering of colors and patterns! The product list is found below! Let’s go shopping! 🙂
