I LOVED creating these fun little baskets in all the gorgeous colors of the Gingham Gala Designer Series papers. Thanks to Pam Kowalczyk for the inspiration!
These baskets are super easy to make! Start with a 6 by 6″ piece of cardstock. Score the paper at 2″ on all four sides. Cut four pieces of Designer Series Paper (I used Gingham Gala) into 1 3/4″ squares. Using a scissors, cut up two sides of the middle score line. (See photo below) Attach the DSP squares to the four corners.
Fold all the score lines on the card stock square. Cut a long strip of card stock at 3/4″ by 7″. If you’d like ( I didn’t do it on these), cut a smaller strip of coordinating DSP at 7″ by 3/4″ and glue onto the long strip for the handle.
Bring the corners of the baskets together on one side (see photo below) and make sure all the corners cover each other. Bring in the handle as well and staple together. (Remember the daisies will cover the staples on one side. You can also use a hole punch and a brad if you prefer.)
Stamp two daisy images in a coordinating color (see product list below) and then use the Daisy Punch to punch out the two daisies. Adhere the two daisies together and then adhere to the baskets. Tie coordinating ribbon to the basket and fill with Easter grass if desired! So fun and so cute!! Click on any of the supplies below to shop with me!
