I Finally Found It!

Have you seen this beautiful FREE set? Thank you to Teri Pocock for this beautiful design — I totally CASED her use of vellum to create the birthday cake.  I started with a card base of Melon Mambo.  I added a panel from the Best Dressed Designer Series Paper.  I stamped the birthday cake image onto a piece of vellum with Versamark after rubbing the vellum with the Embossing Buddy.  Fro there, I sprinkled White Emboss Powder on the image and heat embossed it.

I used Stampin’ Blends to color the BACK side of the vellum.  Sometimes, you may want to go over areas twice with your blends to get the deepness of color you are looking for. Use any colors you want to in order to match the Designer Series Paper you are using.  I cut out the vellum cake using a Rectangle Stitched Die, and made another matching panel in Whisper White, then mounted the vellum cake onto the Whisper White panel, being careful to use liquid glue in a few spare areas that wouldn’t show through too much.  I then put this piece on a panel of Melon Mambo that was 1/4″ larger than the vellum panel.  I finished with some retired embellishments, and I was done!  LOVED the process!

What a great set which everyone will find useful. Not only does it contain the great cake image which would be perfect for birthdays, anniversaries or weddings, but it also contains greetings! You get “Happy Birthday” and “Celebrate” and “To You.” Perfect for so many celebrations.

You can stamp, color with makers, alcohol markers, watercolor or even heat emboss. So many options and the Happy Birthday to You stamp set is all you need to create a perfect celebration/birthday card.
