First Day of Spring — A Welcome Card!

Happy First Day of Spring! I made a “Welcome Spring” card to show off the Springtime Joy stamp set from Stampin’ Up!

I started with a Basic White panel of cardstock to which I added a Just Jade embossed panel measuring 3″. I added a 2 1/2″ panel of the new and beautiful Butterfly Bijou Designer Series Paper. I cut a piece of Pool Party shimmering ribbon to cover the seam between the two papers.

I cut a square shape from the Stitched Shaped Dies and built my little “Spring” scene, then colored in with Stampin’ Blends! Every stamp in this set is just adorable, and could be used for Easter, Spring, or new baby!

I punched a few leaves out using the Leaf Punch to add some interest toward the top of the card. I added some Wink of Stella to the scene, and a few Pastel Pearls after popping the square onto the card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals! And that was it – so fun and easy!
