This is my second post using the Words of Cheer stamp set and the Stampin’ Blends. In my set of three cards, each is treated a little differently as far as colors and layout. It was so fun to get my Stampin’ Blends out and just enjoy the act of coloring and shading with our beautiful stamps. Here’s my second card:
I used a base of Basic White cardstock, and then cut a panel from the Whimsy & Wonder Designer Series Paper at 5 1/4″ x 4 ” and adhered it to the front.. I used another 1″ x 4 1/4″ strip from the Tidings of Christmas DSP and adhered it to the front as well.
I then stamped a flower bouquet from the Words of Cheer stamp set on a scrap of Basic White cardstock in Memento Tuxedo Black Ink, and used the Stampin’ Blends listed below to color in my bouquet. I then fussy cut it and ran it through my Cut N Emboss machine using the Timeworn Type 3D embossing folder. The little bit of texture adds so much!
I cut out a Happy die in Flirty Flamingo and a piney background in Evening Evergreen card stock. I used the Holiday Rhinestones to create a little bling accent at the center of each flower. So easy and fun! Lastly, I stamped the HOLIDAY stamp directly onto the front of the card with Evening Evergreen ink.
