Hello, Stampers! It’s a sunny day here in northern Minnesota. Even though it’s cold outside, the sun through the windows brings some heat. Spring is aaaalllllllmost around the corner. This week, I continue to share cards made with the Flowering Tulips bundle.

First, I cut a card base from Basic White cardstock. I then cut a panel Basic Black cardstock at 5 1/4″ x 4″ from one of the DSP papers. I cut another panel from the Pattern Party Designer Series Paper (found as a host set in the annual catalog) to 5 1/8″ x 3 7/8.” The next layer was in Basic White cardstock, cropped from the Scalloped Contours dies on which I then began to build my tulip bouquet.

I used the Simply Marbleous Designer Series Papers from the Sale-A-Bration brochure. The papers are so fun, and come in 6 x 6″ sheets. I cut out the pieces to make three tulips, and also some leaves and stems from Old Olive cardstock.
The assembly of the tulips is quite easy, once you get the hang of it. I watched a tutorial online, and really enjoyed putting the three different-sized tulips together. Take a look at this brief video by Sandy McCullough, who explains it so well!
I then stamped a sentiment from the Flowering Tulips stamp set in Memento Tuxedo Black Ink onto a scrap of white paper and used another die from the Scalloped Contours die to cut it out. I popped it up on the card using Stampin’ Dimensionals. I finished with some Iridescent Jewels, and I was done! Such fun!
Take a look at this fun video to give you an even better overview of the beautiful Flowering Fields Suite!
