I paired the beautiful Perched in a Tree bundle, new in the Stampin’ Up! July-December Mini Catalog, with a pre-designed card and envelope from the Texture Chic Suite Collection.
This gorgeous bundle is going to be perfect for early Autumn, Autumn, and then right into the winter and of course, Christmas. That’s how versatile it’s going to be! The stamp set has beautiful sentiments, and the cutest little bird! The dies include some embossed leaves, a pretty branch for the bird to sit on, AND the aspen tree framed die, which I adore! For this card, I chose to stamp the bird and color him with Water Painters using some Grey Granite, Petal Pink, and Mango Melody inks, trying to pick up the colors in the pre-designed card. After cutting out the bird, I popped it onto a doily from the Heart and Home Doilies. I stamped a branch, and accented it with some Gray Granite lines, and placed it under the bird.
The leaves are dies included in this great bundle, and I cut out two leaves from the Silver Foil Specialty Papers, and added them to the branch.
I cut out a rectangle from the Deckled Rectangles Dies. The sentiment was stamped in Gray Granite ink, using one of the pretty sentiments. I finished the card with a few Iridescent Rhinestones. I love the soft colors in this card, and I hope you do, too!
