I love the Glorious Gingham Designer Series Papers (and don’t forget the DSP’s are on sale!). I couldn’t wait to try this card technique that I saw from Lisa Curcio. The possibilities are endless with the little peek-a-boo diamond in the center of the card:
Here are the basic measurements:
BASE:
Basic White Cardstock for card base: 4 1/4″ x 11”, score at 5 1/2.” (Or you can use any colored cardstock, if you’d prefer)
Designer Series Paper: Cut 4 @ 2” x 2 5/8”

Once my small patterned squares are affixed to the card front, I worked on the rest of the card. I used the Medium Daisy Punch to punch out two daisies. The specialty papers I used can be found below. Just click to start shopping! I stamped some small background flowers and the sentiment on the center front of the card. I then adhered the two-layered daisy with a glue dot, and an Iridescent Gem. There – done!

With the great sale going on right now at Stampin’ Up! on Designer Series Papers, I thought I’d feature a fun idea that uses the patterned paper as the BASE of the card — so when you open up the card, you can see the back side of the DSP, which is alway beautiful, too! Here are the card and the measurements:
12″ x 4″ Fresh as a Daisy Designer Series Paper, Scored at 5 1/2” and 11″
5-1/4″ x 3-3/4″ Basic White Cardstock for inside of card
1-1/4″ x 4″ Colored cardstock for front
A Sentiment base and embellishments as desired.
Fold at the score lines, and then tuck in the 1 1/4” piece of cardstock at the one-inch fold. Adhere to card, and then adhere the folded flap. Add white panel to inside of card. Decorate front as desired.
I used a rectangle die from the Deckled Rectangles Dies on which to stamp a sentiment from the Artistically Inked stamp set. I used some ribbon behind the sentiment panel, and added some gems. This card goes together so quickly, and I love the concept of using Stampin’ Up!’s beautiful DSP as a card base. Welcome to the Stampin’ Pretty Pals’ Blog Hop! This month, the theme is the New 2023-2025 In Colors. We hope you will be inspired by all the creations the Pals share with you! You will find the lineup at the end of my post to help you “hop” along from Pal to Pal.
We were all excited for the official unveiling of the new 2023-25 In Colors in the new Stampin’ Up! Annual Catalog, and the anticipation did not disappoint. Five new colors, beautifully rich and muted! Which is your fave, or do you give them all equal love?
For today’s Blog Hop, I chose to focus on one particular In-Color as a fresh option for a neutral background color: Pebbled Path. I just LOVE how beautifully this color works with so many other colors — it’s not too gray, it’s not too brown, it’s not too taupe, it’s not too ANYTHING! It’s perfect! Here’s the card I built using Pebbled Path as my card base, along with Flirty Flamingo and Soft Seafoam:
Measurements:
Pebbled Path Card Base: 5 1/2″ by 8 1/2″
2023-25 In Color DSP for front of card: 3/4″ by 5 1/4″
Exposed Brick Embossing Folder on Pebbled Path DSP: 3 ” by 5 1/4″
Basic White cardstock for inside card panel: 5 1/4″ by 4″
This stamp set and dies bundle, Translucent Florals, will be available in the upcoming Mini Catalog, coming out later this summer. I thought it would be fun to create some projects to give a sneak peek to customers, and get myself acclimated. The beautiful stamps are different, in that they create a ‘translucent’ effect with a darker outline around the flowers and leaves. I just love it!
After creating the card base, I embossed the larger panel of cardstock with the Exposed Brick 3D Embossing folder. I adhered to the front of the card, along with the strip of DSP in the same color. I then stamped my bouquet of translucent flowers on some scrap pieces of Basic White cardstock. The flowers are stamped in Flirty Flamingo, and leaves in Soft Seafoam, and the small accent piece in Pebbled Path.
I cut them all using the coordinating dies, and built my bouquet on the card front, using Stampin’ Dimensionals for some of the flowers. I stamped the sentiment from the stamp set and cut out using the Deckled Rectangles dies. I used the smallest die, and then cut it again to fit snugly around the sentiment. I popped on some In Color Dots, and I was done!

I recently tried a new (to me) fun fold called the Double Decker Pop Up Card. I followed a video made by Susan Stampfield here: https://suestampfield.com/2023/05/double-decker-pop-out-card/#more-13142. I featured a brand new suite of products called Earthen Elegance. Here is the fun fold using this suite:
Measurements:
Card Base: 5 1/2″ by 8 1/2″, scored at 4 1/4″ and 2 1/8″
DSP for back part of card: 4″ by 5 1/4″
2 embossed panels for short sides: 1 7/8″ by 5 1/4″
White pop-up mechanism piece: 3″ x 2 1/4″, scored at 3/4″, 1 1/2″, and 2 1/4″
Panel to put on inside pop-up: (we used white and stamped on it): 3″ x 4 1/2″
Two panels for front:
Colored cardstock: 3″ x 4″
White cardstock: 2 3/4″ x 3 3/4″. (This is what I built the little scene with the vases on it.) Stamp on the white first before adhering to the colored panel, then attached to card front, only adhering down the left side.
Sue’s video makes the little mechanism part easy! Here’s what the card looks like from the top:
I just love everything about this lovely Earthen Elegance Suite. The vases, the papers, and the lovely sentiments.

One of my favorite suites from the new Annual Stampin’ Up! Catalog is the Inked Botanicals Suite. To get to know my new suite of products better, I created a card that is a direct CASE of fellow stamper Deb Crowley at expressivelydeb.com. Her card is, in turn, a CASE of the new catalog, found on p. 94.
Very Vanilla cardstock card base 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″, scored at 4 1/4″ on the 8 1/2″ side.
The Crushed Curry patterned paper layer is 4 1/4″ x 5 1/2″ for the card front
Lost Lagoon patterned paper layer: 5 1/4″ x 2 1/2″
Very Vanilla cardstock layer is 4 1/2″ x 3″. This is the layer you stamp on.
The stamped images are stamped twice using Lost Lagoon, Crushed Curry and Calypso Coral ink.
I punched one “star” shape directly from the Designer Series Paper. You can punch two and layer them offset if you want.
The sentiment, stamped with Lost Lagoon ink, is punched with the “star” shaped punch.
I love the punches that go with this suite. In addition, the Inked Botanicals Suite has it all: a gorgeously watercolor stamp set, BEAUTIFUL designer papers, a lovely coordinating ribbon, and dies.
