Hi, Stampers! I created some fun cards using1″ strips from the Regency Park Designer Series Papers. I love the different color combinations in these papers. The patterns are so fun and spring-like, and I do hate wasting any beautiful paper! So I made four card using four combos:

This card layout is from Mary Fish from Stampin’ Pretty. I started with a card base of 8 1/2″ by 11″, folded at 4 1/4″. I then added a different colored cardstock panel of 4″ by 5 1/4″ on top of that. From there, I took a panel of Basic White cardstock on which I would adhere the strips, cut at 3 3/4″ by 5″, which would be trimmed down later.

Then I cut THREE strips of THREE different coordinating designer papers at 1″ wide. From my samples, you can see how they fit onto the card. Some can be cut at 1 by 5″ and a few more like 1 by 3″ — it’s NOT an exact science haha!

I then started adhering the strips to the white panel which has not been attached to the card yet! I placed them, just ‘eyeing up’ the gap between each strip. I started with these four, (see dotted line below), and then pieced the others in. Once you get the hang of it, it goes fast for multiple cards.

The strips will hang over the edges of your white panel. When all the strips are applied, turn over, and trim the strips to the edges of the white panel, and adhere to the card front!

I used the Lovely Labels Pick-a-Punch to punch out the sentiments after stamping with the large THANKS sentiment from the Season of Chic stamp set. So nice to be able to choose two different designs on the punch! And so quick and easy!

I tied big bows of white baker’s twine behind each sentiment and adhered with Stampin’ Dimensionals. I added some various sequins I had in my embellishment stash, and done!

The Regency Park designer series papers have such beautiful floral patterns; they’re so much fun to mix and match!

We are currently traveling in the Southwest for a month, and we’re loving the beautiful colors and plants of the areas. After five days in Tulsa, we spent four days in Sedona. My favorite parts were the hikes into the foothills!

My project for today uses the beautiful Desert Details bundle:

I started with a card base of Gray Granite at 8 1/2″ by 5 1/2″, scored at 4 1/4″. I then added a panel of Cajun Craze cut at 4″ by 5 1/4″. I used the diecuts and a piece of the Delicate Desert DSP to make the next layer. The details in the diecuts are amazing!

I then stamped two desert flowers with Cajun Craze and Soft Succulent ink and cut them out with the coordinating dies. I also stamped one of the beautiful sentiments in Soft Succulent, and then cut out with a die from the Something Fancy dies. I assembled the pieces onto the card front with adhesive tape and Stampin’ Dimensionals. I finished off with a few Pastel Self-Adhesive Sequins and a bow of the Flirty Flamingo Metallic Ribbon.

The Desert Details Bundle is simply gorgeous – add them to the beautiful papers, and you have a winning and warm combination.

I love the new Ginkgo Branch Bundle from the Stampin’ Up! mini catalog. With the dies and two of the beautiful sentiments, I created these two notecards:

I started with a Basic White notecard and a piece of Fancy Flora 6 x 6″ Designer Series Paper, cut to the notecard’s dimensions of 5″ by 3 1/2″, adhered to the front of the card. Notice I made one vertical and one horizontal in design.

I then cut two ginkgo diecuts in two different colors of the gorgeous Fine Shimmer paper. From there, I stamped two of the pretty sentiments from the stamp set onto scraps of Basic White cardstock. I cut them using the diecut.

I adhered the ginkgo diecuts, and then popped up the sentiment panels with Stampin’ Dimensionals. From the leftover DSP, I put adhesive on two envelope flaps, and then adhered the two DSP scraps onto the flaps. I trimmed the DSP to fit the flaps, adding an extra bit of beauty to the cards.
