I recently had some co-workers retire from teaching. Together, the four teachers had well over 100 years of service to our school district — an admirable group for sure. I made this card for all four retiring colleagues. It’s simple and yet serene. I hope!

I used the new Colorful Seasons stamp set from Stampin’ Up!, found in the fabulous 2017-18 Annual Catalog, now available to order from! This stamp set features stamps and coordinating dies that highlight all four seasons. I think this set will be a bestseller because you can literally use it ALL year long!

Instructions
On the Shimmery White cardstock panel, stamp the ‘ground’ by using the Timeless Textures stamp in Crumb Cake. Stamp a ‘sun’ using the round stamp from the Swirly Bird stamp set in So Saffron. Use the Timeless Texture stamp to create a spattering of blue with Pool Party ink pad. Stamp the “Just Breathe” sentiment from the Colorful Seasons stamp set in Chocolate Chip ink across the bottom of the Shimmery Whisper White panel.
Using the Big Shot, cut an Adirondack chair using a sheet of paper from the Wooden Textures DSP. Adhere to the Whisper White panel using Fine Tip Glue. Adhere the Whisper White panel to the Pool Party cardstock panel using SNAIL. Use Dimensionals to adhere top of card to the Crumb Cake card base. Embellish with other dies from the bundle as desired.

I used Very Vanilla cardstock and This Christmas Designer Series Paper to create a card base. Then it got glittery! I broke out the new Stampin’ Up! Red Glitter Embossing Powder and used Versamark to heat emboss snowflakes from the Tin of Tags Stamp Set. A great way to add sparkle without the glitter falling all over your house! (Well, I don’t mind that as much as some might!)
