A Simple Card and a Virtual Hello!

Hello!

Bird Ballad Notecards - Mary Hanson - Up North Stampin'

This has been quite a month, and I hope you are healthy and not feeling too anxious.  I am trying to combat my own stress (we’ve had huge changes to overcome at the high school where I work!) by looking for the silver lining as much as I can.  Many of us are getting extra time to craft, which is one of the best ways I have to relax and enjoy.  Extra time with family is precious in our busy lives and it’s been uplifting to see how our communities are coming together and helping each other.

Personally, I’m quite a homebody,  and don’t mind being here for longer periods of time.  However, as time goes on, “people who need people” will begin to feel isolated quickly. It’s the ideal time to make and send cards to friends and family who may not be getting out and having those important social interactions.  It’s amazing how ONE handmade card can make someone feel happy, special, and connected!

Above and below are some cards I made for the residents of our Assisted Living Center in my town:

Cards for Assisted Living

They’re clean and easy, but will hopefully brighten someone’s day!  It’s a great way to use up materials you already have.  With Sale-A-Bration ending soon, now is the perfect time to get some goodies from your wish list and stock up on crafting essentials to earn extra rewards.  There has been another batch of products Go HERE to see all the free items you can earn by spending increments of $50!  Remember, Sale-A-Bration ends March 31st!

Stay safe,

Mary
