I had a ton of Easter fun creating with the Excellent Eggs Bundle, and will keep it in my stash for a very long time. BUT it’s retiring soon, so now is the time to snatch it up! Stamp, then cut out Easter eggs and bunnies for cards and gift tags in minutes. Combine stamp images and dies to create colorful and dimensional accents to welcome Easter and the arrival of spring!

The dies are especially fun with this bundle. You can build eggs like the ones above by cutting out a number of egg dies in different colors, and then just mixing and matching. The paper is a design from the Lighter Than Air 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Papers – perfect colors for Easter. Here’s another project I did for my Easter table:

I recently made two cards using the Simply Zinnia bundle and fun fold from Patty Bennett – a simple flap fold card. SO easy and fun, and my Up North Stampin’ Facebook Gang also posted their own cards using this fun fold. Here is one, and then I’ll show you an alternate design:

Supplies/Measurements:

• A2 card base (5 1/2” by 8 1/2”, scored at 4 1/4”)
• A panel of DSP cut at 5 1/4” by 4”
• A second panel of coordinating DSP cut to 3” by 4”
• A third panel of coordinating DSP (different from the other 2) cut in 4” by 5 1/4” for inside of card
• A Basic White cardstock panel approx. 3 x 4” for inside of card
• Dies, ribbon, stamped sentiment, embellishments — whatever you want to use for finishing!

Directions: Fold down the top corner of the DSP wherever you’d like, no need to measure the fold or the angle. Tuck the 3″ by 4″ DSP in before adhering down, making sure it lines up at the top. Use a glue dot to secure the flap, and adhere the front DSPs to the card base.

Use the third piece of DSP for the inside, with the small white panel adhered on top of it to write on. Finish the front with diecuts, a sentiment panel — whatever you’d like. I used the Zinnia Dies and cut out three different petal dies — one in Pumpkin Pie, one in Melon Mambo, and then Petal Pink. I layered those and added a flower center in Lemon Lolly and leaves in Lemon Lime Twist. I added some Adhesive Backed Shiny Sequins, and I was done!

Here is a similar card with the same set of DSP — and a little different placement of my diecut Zinnia. Which do you like better?

Each of these cards uses a three different panels (or sides) of the NEW Designer Series Paper — Flowering Zinnias DSP. I just LOVE the colors and designs.

In both cards, I simply let the paper do all the work.

Each of these cards uses a panel of NEW Designer Series Papers — A Little Latte DSP, and Flowering Zinnias DSP. They’re both already on my crafting table, and I just LOVE the colors and designs.

In both cards I simply let the paper do allllll the work. I heat embossed the sentiments in white embossing powder. Do you like to emboss? If you haven’t tried it, you should — it really adds another element to your papercrafting.

I created this card using some beautiful free products from the Sale-A-Bration brochure, and yes, there are two weeks left before these great deals are gone for another year. (See below for more details!) Here’s my card: can you see which are the free products?

I started with a card base of Wild Wheat cardstock, measured at 8 1/2″ by 5 1/2″, scored at 4 1/4.” I then cut a panel of Lost Lagoon cardstock at 5 1/4″ by 4,” and a panel of Softly Stippled Designer Series Paper (YES, it’s FREE with a $50 purchase!) and adhered it to the Lost Lagoon piece.

Before adhering to the card base, I wrapped some Lost Lagoon 3/8″ ribbon around the two pieces, and brought around to the front, tying a square knot off to one side. I then taped it all to the card base.

Then I used a sentiment from the FREE (with a $50 purchase) Heartfelt Hello stamp set, and stamped on a scrap of Basic White cardstock, then punched it out using the Heartfelt Hexagon punch. I used Stampin’ Dimensionals at the top and bottom of the hexagon to pop it on to the card base.

Finally, I used a couple of embellishments to add some bling to the card. The 2023-2025 In-Color Dots are a perfect match to the Wild Wheat! I hope you enjoyed my card. The Softly Stippled DSP is simply gorgeous — have you seen all the beautiful patterns? Two weeks to snap them up!

Welcome to the Stampin’ Pretty Pals’ Blog Hop!

This month, the theme is “Love Is In The Air.” We hope you will be inspired by the creations the Pals are sharing with you! Then, you will find the lineup at the end of my post to help you “hop” along from Pal to Pal.

What says LOVE better than a traditional and shiny Valentine’s Day card using the beautiful “Most Adored” Designer Series papers, FREE from the Sale-A-Bration brochure? I just love the beautiful gold foil accents. 

If you’re ever wondering what to do with small strips of precious Designer Series Papers (who wants to throw any away?), this layout is for you. Thanks to Sharon Armstrong at TX Stampin’ Sharon for the idea. The measurements are easy, and you can create either a portrait or landscape card.

I started with a card base of Real Red cardstock measuring 4 ¼” x 11,” scored at 5 ½.” I chose three designs from the papers and cut (1) 1/2″x 3 3/4″ and (1) 1/2″ x 5″ out of each pattern, so three different strips of each length. I made sure the paper was non-directional and could be effective when cut into a narrow strip.

I also cut two panels of Basic White Cardstock at 4” x 5 ¼”. I arranged and adhered the strips of DSP onto the one of the white panels, weaving them through each other where they cross. Or you can simply glue or tape one set of strips right over the other. The second Basic White panel was glued to the inside of the card – up to you how you decorate it.

I then ran the Basic White panel with the strips adhered through the Stamp ‘n Emboss Machine with the Subtle 3D Embossing Folder, and then added the panel to the front of the card base. I like the texture that the embossing folder adds! 

I punched two hearts using the Heart Punch Pack, one in Flirty Flamingo, and the ‘lacy’ bordered one in Gold Shimmer Paper (retired). I stamped a sentiment from the Bee My Valentine stamp set using Versamark Ink and then heat embossed with white embossing powder. I adhered the pink heart onto the gold. I draped some Red Sheer ribbon across the back and then popped the whole thing up using Stampin’ Dimensionals. I finished with a few gold embellishments!
