Welcome to the Stampin’ Pretty Pals’ Blog Hop! This month, the theme is All Creatures Great and Small. We really hope that you will be inspired by all the amazing creations the Pals are sharing with you! Then, you will find the lineup at the end of my post to help you “hop” along from Pal to Pal.

I love the theme of this month’s Pal’s Blog Hop, and I sure hope you do, too! I hadn’t taken out my little Happy Hedgehog and coordinating punch for quite awhile, so it seemed the perfect time to do so! Here is my Autumn hedgehog card:

I wanted to build a little fall scene with my hedgehog, so I used the Autumn Leaves dies to cut out a variety of small leaves from the All About Autumn and Oxidized Copper Specialty Designer Series papers. Setting those aside, I built my card.

Here are the measurements for this 3″ x 6″ card:

• 6″ by 6″ Very Vanilla cardstock, scored at 3″
• 6″ by 3″ panel of All About Autumn Designer Series Papers, adhered to card base

From there, I used the Deckled Circles Dies to cut out two circles, one a little larger, in Very Vanilla and Pecan Pie. I also cut out a sentiment panel from the dies in this set — I love the stitching around the outside of the rectangle! I stamped the sentiment in Versamark ink, and then heat embossed the sentiment with copper embossing powder.

I stamped my little hedgehog on a scrap of Very Vanilla and punched it out with my Hedgehog Builder punch. I cut a length of the pretty and shiny copper ribbon to drape behind the sentiment panel, and adhered the panel to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals. I popped up the sentiment panel as well, and then added a smattering of small leaves to the card. I used a couple of embellishments, and I was done!

All the products used to make this project can be found at the bottom of the post. I so enjoyed combining my cute little hedgehog with some new products from the September-December Mini Catalog — I will say it’s one of my favorite catalogs ever!

I created a card using the “All About Autumn” Suite that was a CASE of the catalog – in other words, “Copy And Share Everything.” This new Mini Catalog is FULL of beautiful samples we can use for inspiration. I found this card on p. 42 at the top. Here it is:

Don’t you love the sweater background? This paper is part of the “All About Autumn” Designer Series Paper set, and every pattern is so pretty. Here are the measurements for the card part, which, when finished, measures 6″ by 3.”

• 6″ by 6″ Very Vanilla cardstock, scored at 3″
• 3″ by 6″ panel of All About Autumn Designer Series Paper, adhered onto card base (the sweater pattern)

I used the dies from the Autumn Leaves bundle to cut out small leaves from other DSP patterns in the DSP set and some coordinating cardstock to march across the card, and then I snipped a piece of Natural ribbon at 5 1/2″ and adhered it across the lower middle of the card. I then cut a panel of Very Vanilla cardstock at 1 1/2″ by 6,” and added some die cuts to create the dotted patterns going across the panel. From there, I arranged the leaves all together onto the card.

Lastly, I cut out a sentiment die from the Autumn Suite in Very Vanilla cardstock, and stamped it in Copper Clay and Pretty Peacock. I popped that up on the card using Stampin’ Dimensionals. I used a couple of embellishments, and I was done!

The All About Autumn Suite Collect was one of the first set of products I ordered from the new Mini Catalog from Stampin’ Up! I recently made some autumn friendship tags for members of my Facebook group who participated in a challenge. The tags were inspired by Mary Deatherage. When sending the tags, I challenged my group to add a card base and send their tag card out for a friend to enjoy.

Here are the measurements for the card part:

• 8 1/2″ by 5 1/2″ Early Espresso cardstock, scored at 4 1/4″
• 5 1/4″ by 4″ panel of Pretty Peacock cardstock adhered to card base
• 3 3/4″ by 5″ panel of All About Autumn Designer Series Paper, adhered onto Pretty Peacock.

From there, I created the tag using the largest of the Tailor Made Tags Dies and the All About Autumn DSP. I also cut out small leaves from other DSP patterns from the same Autumn set, as well as the large leaf vein and a Very Vanilla tag ‘ring’ for the top. I cut out a large leaf in Pretty Peacock, and used the Distressed Tile Embossing Folder to give the leaf some beautiful texture. From there, I arranged the leaves all together onto the tag.

Lastly, I cut out a sentiment die from the Autumn Suite in Very Vanilla cardstock, and stamped it in Copper Clay and Pretty Peacock. I popped that up on the card using Stampin’ Dimensionals, and added some linen thread to the end of the tag. I used a couple of embellishments, and I was done!

I chose to use the new “Trucking Along” Punch Bundle, which has been in and out of availability:

The bundle is slated to be back in inventory in October, and if you missed the first order, I hope you get your bundle just in time for holiday crafting. My project also uses the new One Horse Open Sleigh designer series papers. Wow, are they fun to use!

Measurements:

• Card base: Early Espresso, 8 1/2 by 5 1/2, scored at 4 1/4″
• Petal Pink Card Stock, 5 1/2″ by 4″
• DSP panel: 5 1/2″ by 3 3/4″ (embossed with the retired Subtle embossing folder)

I adhered the two panels onto the card base. I then cut a circle die from the Beautiful Shapes Dies in Vellum cardstock. I stamped the sentiment onto the vellum, and dried it a little with my Heat Tool, adhering it to the card front, making sure the adhesive would be underneath the truck piece.

I stamped a truck outline in Early Espresso on a scrap of Basic White cardstock, then the ‘body’ of the truck in Boho Blue, and the tires in Early Espresso. I punched it out, then affixed it to the vellum circle with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I tucked two branch dies into the back of the truck bed from the Earthen Elegance dies to look like tree branches, and then added some 2023-2025 In-Color Dots to finish the card!

Hi, Friends!

It’ll soon be time for you to order from the GORGEOUS and FUN September – December 2023 Mini Catalog. You are going to love the great variety and the beautiful new products that’ll take you from fall to general to the winter holidays! In honor of that, I created a project with a bundle that will be in the new mini catalog, called the Translucent Florals bundle.

I started with a card base from the Bright and Beautiful Memories and More Cards and Envelopes — these pretty watercolor card bases come in two different styles with beautiful coordinating envelopes.

I then used some Bubble Bath ink to stamp some floral images from the stamp set directly onto the card. You can ‘stamp off’ one time on a scratch piece of paper before stamping onto the card if you’d like to create a light background – totally up to you! In addition, I stamped some leaves in Lemon Lime Twist that would add background to my floral ‘bouquet.’

Then I stamped some flowers and leaves onto vellum cardstock, making sure the ink is dry before cutting the flowers with the coordinating dies. I layered the flowers and leaves onto the card base with glue dots. The effect of the translucent stamps with the vellum is really pretty!

I stamped a sentiments from the Framed Florets stamp set onto a scrap of white card stock, and cut out. I tucked the sentiment onto the card and arranged the flowers around it. I finished with some Pastel Adhesive Backed Sequins and I was done!
