This week, I am featuring some sneak peeks of a brand new collection that will be available to customers on November 1. The Fitting Florets Collection is so beautiful, and actually contains two stamp sets, one of which will NOT be available after December, called the Framed & Festive Stamp Set. Here are some cards I created this week that combine the beautiful florals with a Christmas/holiday feel:

I started with a white card base and then cut a panel of the coordinating Designer Series Paper, measured at 4″ by 5 1/4″ and adhered it to the card base. I used Soft Succulent and Basic White and Evening Evergreen cardstock, and cut out some of the oval diecuts, and then mixed and matched them to get this combination. I then heat embossed one of the beautiful Christmas sentiments with white embossing powder on the Evening Evergreen inner oval. The combination possibilities are so fun!

Before adhering the oval frames, I tucked one of the Wonderful Snowflakes under with a glue dot, and then adhered the ovals. It was that simple and it’s so elegant and pretty with the white berries and pretty foliage.

The second project used the same Designer Series Paper, but I colored the berries using the Cherry Cobbler Stampin’ Blends, dark and light. The oval is one of the simpler designes, and then I added two leaf sprig dies made from Glimmer Specialty Paper:

The Glimmer Specialty Paper adds some sparkle to any of your holiday projects!

This beautiful sentiment was simply stamped in Evening Evergreen. I LOVE the combination of fonts.

This week, I am featuring some sneak peeks of a brand new collection that will be available to customers on November 1. This versatile bundle and coordinating products will be a staple in craft rooms! Today, I’ll share two more projects, the first, a birthday card:

I started with a white card base and then cut a panel of Soft Succulent cardstock, measured at 4″ by 5 1/4″ and ran it through with a die from the bundle to make a panel with tiny cut-out hearts. Isn’t it pretty? I then heat embossed one of the beautiful sentiments with white embossing powder.

I then used a piece of the Designer Series Papers and another die from the bundle to directly cut out the little flower clusters – so easy! I popped them up with Stampin’ Dimensionals, and added a jewel embellishment. Fun!

Take a look at these lovely papers — see the one that I used to cut out the flowers? It’s the first one and die fits exactly over it!

Now, onto my second project for today:

This card started with a card base of Night of Navy and then a slightly smaller panel of Balmy Blue. I cut out two of the oval diecuts — one in Balmy Blue, and one in Basic White. I then mixed and matched to get the effect above. The sentiment was stamped in Night of Navy and simply placed in the middle.

I stamped and then colored a small flower and leaves and used Balmy Blue and Soft Succulent Stampin’ Blends to color them in. I accented with two diecut leaves in Silver Foil, and three Iridescent Pearl embellishments.

There’s been a FLURRY of FUSSING about the FABULOUS new collection called the FITTING FLORETS Collection! This brand new collection will be available to customers on November 1. Here’s the very first card I created with this collection:

This card was created for a Color Challenge on the Stampin’ Pretty Pals Facebook Group. The colors are Pear Pizzazz, Cajun Craze, and Crumb Cake. The card was fun to create, because as you can see from the next photo, many of the colors featured in the Fitting Florets Collection are more traditional ‘flower’ colors. My project above is a little more ‘Autumn’ flavored.

Now, more about my first project with these products:

My project began with a card base of Cajun Craze at 5 1/2″ by 8 1/2″, scored at 4 1/4″. I then proceeded to do some cutting with the Fitting Florets dies. I cut an oval die using Crumb Cake, and used the outer frame saving the inner frame for another day. I did the same thing with a diecut of Basic White. (One of the fun things about the dies is that the centers of the oval dies can be used for sentiment shapes in other projects, or are interchangeable with each other, so you can mix and match.)

I stamped one of the beautiful sentiments in Cajun Craze ink onto the white oval. I then cut some leaf shapes with Gold Foil and Pear Pizzazz. I stamped some flowers onto some Basic White cardstock pieces in Early Espresso, and then colored them with Light and Dark Cajun Craze Stampin’ Blends. I then cut them out using the coordinating flower dies. I arranged two flower clusters around the oval, using glue dots.

Lastly, I added some Gold Adhesive Backed Swirls, also included in the collection.

If you’ve been in any retail store or done any kind of crafting lately, you’ll see that GNOMES are all the rage. Stampin’ Up! has a fun and versatile new collection of GNOME products in our July-December Mini Catalog. The Storybook Gnomes Suite Collection features a fun year-round stamp set, adorable dies that allow you to cut a gnome (with separate hat, shoes, nose, and beard) using dies, and really fun Designer Series Papers and Embellishments. I made a treat bag using the Gnomes Dies and the Peekaboo Treat Bags:

The idea for the darling Candy Corn hat on Mr. Gnome came from Julie Gilson at Stampin’ Gala. Here’s a link: https://stampingala.com/?s=gnomes

I simply built the gnome by cutting out the different body parts, and then assembling. You could make a Christmas Gnome, a Birthday Gnome, anything you want to. The gnome’s beard also has a new product to this mini catalog: the Snowfall Accents Puff Paint. You apply it wet, and then heat with a heat tool until it puffs up.

I cut out a tag die from the Tailor Made Dies using the Sale-a-Bration Designer Paper. You could use ANY patterned paper, or just solid cardstock. I then stamped a small sentiment on a leaf tag, added two amber gems (one to cover the little hole on the tag), and then mounted the gnome and the leaf onto the tag.

I used some retired ribbon and wrapped it around the treat bag, then tied it, and tucked the tag underneath with a glue dot or two. The Peekaboo Treat Bags come in white or kraft color. They open and close with ziplock closure. They’re adorable, and just right for so many treats!

This month, the theme is a Color Challenge. Using Crumb Cake, Mango Melody, Cajun Craze and Mossy Meadow, the Design Team has created some great projects! We hope that you will be inspired by all the amazing creations! As you hop from blog to blog, we would love for you to leave a comment. Then, you will find the lineup at the end of my post to help you “hop” along from Pal to Pal.

Here is the Color Combo we are using this month. These colors spoke of the Autumn season to me. How about you?

Here’s my project:

This is a bookmark card, so the recipient can continue to be reminded of you when they use the enclosed bookmark in the future. I got the design from Lisa Curcio, and there are many bookmark card layouts on the Internet or Pinterest as well. Here are the measurements:

Procedure: Attach the DSP to the front of the card base, and then create the pocket, which is then attached to the front of the card as well. Fold the pocket piece at the score line, and then use Tear n Tape to adhere the bottom and side of the pocket. Attach the DSP, and then adhere to the front of the card base.

The bookmark is two-layered to add some stiffness to it. I adhered the layers together, and then used the retired Tap Topper Punch at the top. You can trim the length as desired. I used some Gold Shimmer ribbon, put it through the hole, and then tied some miscellaneous Baker’s Twine around the ribbon, trimmed all, and then shredded the ribbon.

I created a wreath by cutting and stacking both wreath dies in Mossy Meadow, and then stamping some leaf stamps and cutting them out using the dies. I used glue dots to attach the leaves and added some shiny gold Festive Pearls. I took more Shimmer Ribbon, shredded it, and created a fun little bow, attaching with a glue dot.

The Rustic Harvest Designer Series Papers are a MUST for your fall papercrafting . I love the black accents along with the rich fall colors!

The sentiment was stamped in Mossy Meadow and then cut with the Deckled Rectangles, along with a background rectangle in Mango Melody. I used Stampin’ Dimensionals to attach all!
