Recently my upline Mary Fish from Stampin’ Pretty created gift card holders that resemble matchbooks — they’re perfect for our upcoming holiday season, or any time! I decided to try my hand at them, and whipped up three!

So fun! They really do resemble a little matchbox. Mary’s dimensions can be found below– you simply cut the base, score, and then fold! I used a piece of Tear n Tape inside at the very bottom of the fold (underneath the bottom sentiment) to adhere the fold together and create the gift card pocket. Don’t use tape on the entire flap, or your gift card won’t have any room! Then decorate!

We all need “Thinking of You” cards to send to the special people in our lives who need an extra “hug in the mail.” This card, constructed in Crumb Cake, Petal Pink, and softer greens, came together quickly.
The card base is an A2 card base in Crumb Cake. I then used a panel of Basic White card stock and the Timeworn Type Embossing Folder create a layer of texture. I then used Petal Pink card stock to cut a smaller scalloped panel.
I stamped the sentiment from the Season of Chic stamp set directly onto to the Petal Pink panel in Mossy meadow, and then used Stampin’ Dimensionals to adhere to the card base. I used a scrap of Thick Basic White card stock and the Blending brushes to blend some Old Olive ink onto the card stock. Then I cut two wreaths out with the wreath dies, and one wreath in Mossy Meadow, layered them, and adhered onto the front with Mini Glue Dots.
Finally, I tied two lengths of Linen Thread together and popped on a bow, and some Irridescent Pearls to finish the wreath. Done! I’m sure you can think of many ways to use a quick wreath card, and you could obviously change the sentiment for whatever occasion you need. All the products I used for this project can be found at the bottom of this post!

Sleigh bells ring—are you listening? Okay, maybe it’s a little early for Christmas carols, but now is still a perfect time to begin thinking about crafting festive cards for your holiday celebrations. We’ve made it easy with our wintry and wonderful “Trimming the Tree” Stamp Set to inspire you. Below you’ll find three cards at three different levels.
Trimming the Tree Step-by-Step
Happy Holidays Card (4-1/4″ x 5-1/2″)
BEGINNER To create the beginner version of our Happy Holidays card, start by folding Soft Succulent Cardstock in half; stamp the Christmas tree and ornament images in Soft Succulent ink. Tie the Basic White Cardstock layer with Baker’s Twine, then adhere it to the card front. Add a simple sentiment and a few sparkling Champagne Rhinestones to complete this simple yet elegant card.
CASUAL We stepped up our second card by leveraging the two-step stamping option and adding depth and dimension with contrasting pine boughs stamped in Evening Evergreen ink. We included a shabby chic element by cutting the Basic White Cardstock layer with one of the Deckled Rectangles Dies.
AVID To create our most stepped-up card, we added a few extra layers, copper embossing, a fancy tag made using Basic White Cardstock and the Meadow Dies, and a bit of White 3/4″ (1.9 cm) Frayed Ribbon. Notice how the use of Stampin’ Dimensionals really makes the Christmas tree pop out!

Candy Corn and Dry-Roasted Peanuts? Caramel and apples? What are your favorite Halloween combos? I created these treat bags from the Stampin’ Up! Peekaboo Treat Bags and the Gnomes Dies:
I cut a bunch of Gnome parts out of Granny Apple Green, Crushed Curry, Basic White, Pumpkin Pie, and Gorgeous Grape. The paper for the hat is from the Celebrate Everything DSP. I also cut some tags using plaid pattern from the Gingham Cottage Designer Series Papers. I started combining the different parts to make several fun Halloween Gnomes, one for each Peekaboo Treat Bag!
I attached the gnomes to the plaid tag, and added a bow made from Parakeet Party 1/8″ Metalic Woven Ribbon. I attached the whole tag to the bag using Stampin’ Dimensionals. Before attaching, I used some Snowfall Accents Puff Paint and the heat gun to make the gnome’s beard come alive! Love it!
Finally, I constructed some little Candy Corn candies. I took a panel of Basic White card stock, and attached strips of Pumpkin Pie, Basic White, and So Saffron cardstock, butting each up next to the other. From there, I was able to cut out a bunch of candies using the coordinating dies.
The dies make the cutest gnomes ever!
And of course, the dies coordinate with the darling stamp set, suitable for use all year long, along with the adorable papers! Here’s the entire suite collection:
Before filling, I used a Tuxedo Black Memento Ink Pad to stamp a fun greeting from this month’s Paper Pumpkin kit. The Peekaboo Treat Bags come in White and Kraft, and are the perfect size for all kinds of spooky treat! Here are a few that I made!
