Yesterday, in the Pals Blog Hop, I posted a card design that I found on Connie Stewart’s site at Simply Simple Stamping. I had to make a few more because they were so fun and easy! HERE was the post from yesterday.
Today, I’ve included three more pop-up cards:
Blackberry Beauty Designer Series PaperPeaceful Place Designer Series PaperExpressions in Ink Designer Series Paper
In her post, Connie used the papers Expressions in Ink papers as well — I LOVED them, so had to include a card like hers. Here are the measurements for all the cards:
Colored card stock for base of the card – 5 1/2″ X 9 1/4″, scored at 1 1/2″, 2 3/4″, 6 1/2″, and 7 3/4″
Designer Series Paper – 5 1/4″ X 3 1/2″
A different (or the same as above) Designer Series Paper, two strips at 1 1/4″ X 5 1/4″
Basic White Card stock – 3 1/2″ X 5 1/4″
The base of the card is folded at all the score lines like an accordion, so the card can stand up on its own. The designer series papers are then adhered to the card base. From there, all that’s left is to decorate your card as you desire! All the products I used for these three projects can be found below. The sequins I used are retired.
I hope you enjoyed my projects! Try a pop-up card yourself! So fun and easy! The products I used can be found below, and don’t forget to take advantage of Sale-A-Bration and get FREE products for every $50 you spend — going on now through September! Find out more HERE!
Welcome to the Stampin’ Pretty Pals’ Blog Hop! This month, the theme is “Sentiment as a Focal Point.” We really hope that you enjoy and will be inspired by them! As you hop from blog to blog, don’t forget to leave comments because we love hearing from you. You will find the lineup at the end of my post to help you “hop” along from Pal to Pal.
My two simple sentiments are packed with meaning and love. I would hope my card could actually sit at someone’s desk or bedside as a reminder that they are LOVED and thought of. We need more of that in our world today!
Evening Evergreen cardstock – 5 1/2″ X 9 1/4″, scored at 1 1/2″, 2 3/4″, 6 1/2″, and 7 3/4″
Quiet Meadow Designer Series Paper – 5 1/4″ X 3 1/2″
Tidings of Christmas Designer Series Paper, two strips at 1 1/4″ X 5 1/4″
Basic White Cardstock – 3 1/2″ X 5 1/4″
I adhered the designer papers to the card base, which was folded like an accordion so it would stand up on its own. The Basic White panel should be adhered to the back main part of the card, and can be used for your handwritten or stamped message. I then used the Quiet Meadow dies to cut out various flowers/plants — I just LOVE these — in different shades of the Shimmer Vellum. So fun to just build little bouquets with that shimmery vellum in the soft 2021-23 In Colors!
I also cut out a leafy die with the Be Dazzling Specialty Designer Papers, a free product you can get during Sale-A-Bration with a $50 purchase. I also die cut the two small butterflies in Shimmer Vellum.
I adhered the bouquet onto the main part of the card, and decorated the two side panels, adding a butterfly to each as well. I then used the Heat Tool to emboss two sentiments from the Love of Leaves stamp set in White Embossing Powder on Evening Evergreen cardstock. I cut out the sentiments using the AWESOME Tailor Made Tags and adhered them onto the front. I tied a double bow using Linen Thread and used a glue dot to adhere them onto the bouquet. The little Genial Gems added an additional sparkle, and I was done!
I hope you enjoyed my project with two heartfelt sentiments that I just love. Hopefully more people in our world today will know they are in our thoughts!
All the products used in my card can be found below the Blog Hop List. More inspiration awaits, so use the lineup below to visit the rest of the Design Team. The Pals are excited to show you what they’ve created! Then, please mark your calendars for our next blog hop on October 13th. Our theme will be Fantastic Fun Folds and 3D Projects when participants showcase fun fold cards or 3D items that will be great for any occasion. Until then, have fun in your craft space.

One of my favorite suites from the catalog is the new Blackberry Beauty Suite, found in the new July-December Mini Catalog. The papers, the stamps and sentiments — everything is modern, fresh, and features GORGEOUS fall colors of Blackberry Bliss, gold, and Cinnamon Cider. I love it so much, I can’t stop creating with the suite!
Thanks to Lynn Dunn at Stamptasticdesigns.com for this fun Angled Card design. I just love it — and it’s a great way to show off this gorgeous set of new papers! Here is a PDF of Lynn’s project. I adapted it by using the new DSP and adding my own sentiment area, including a tag from the Blackberry Beauty Ephemera Pack — in it, you’ll find all kind of pre-made frames, sentiment tags, and other graphic pieces, all ready to go!
OH, and the ribbon? I saw this trick somewhere, and it’s even featured on p. 44 of the July-December Mini Catalog — Simply start to pull on one of the strands at the end of a ribbon cut, and it unravels, leaving all these beautiful metallic gold threads!
The suite features these products — I just had to have them all!

Imagine these sweet little treat jars sitting at each place setting of a summer tea or coffee party, or at a 4th of July picnic! Stampin’ Up!’s Mini Jam Jars are the perfect container for candy treats, honey, or — in my case bath salts! Here is a Mini Jam Jar created with the Sweet Strawberry Bundle:
I used the Pansy Petals Designer to wrap a belly band of 1″ by 7 3/4″ around the middle of the jar. I cut out a circle from the Stitched Shapes dies to fit the top of the jar. I then stamped some cute strawberries, flowers, and leaves from the Sweet Strawberry stamp set and used the awesome punch to simply punch them out! It’s fun to use these two-step stamps….I ‘stamped off’ the solid color parts and used full-strength ink for the outline stamp. The leaves are made from the Soft Succulent Shimmer Vellum, and punched out as well! Easy!
I hope you enjoyed my project — the jam jars have so many possibilities! Please let me know what you decided to do with yours. Simply click on any product below to get started shopping with me. Now is a perfect time, because it’s Sale-A-Bration, where you get rewarded for treating yourself to all the great Stampin’ Up! products. Free products for every $50 you spend! Are you looking for a sweet little gift to give a friend? How about your child’s teachers? A daycare provider? Stampin’ Up!’s Mini Jam Jars are the perfect container for candy treats, honey, or — in my case bath salts! Here are a couple of jars I decorated:
For both jars, I used the Pansy Petals Designer to wrap a belly band of 1″ by 7 3/4″ around the middle of the jar. On the Sunflower jar, I cut out a circle from the Stitched Shapes dies to fit the top of the jar. I then stamped and colored the small sunflower with Stampin’ Blends, and cut out with the coordinating die. The sentiment is from the Sweet Symmetry stamp set, and the tag is from the Tailored Tag dies, which I love!
On the Pansy jar, I used a large circle from the Circle dies and shaped around the jar lid. I used Tear n Tape around the edge of the lid to fasten down the circle, and then made creases to make it look like fabric. The sentiment is from the Sweet as a Peach stamp set, on a scrap piece of Basic White that I simply made angle cuts on each end. I tied baker’s twine around the lid. I fussy cut pansies out from the Pansy Petals to pop onto the top, and then added the In Color Jewels for some sparkle!

All the training and support you need is available from me and Stampin’ Up! but if you are happy to be left alone to do your thing, that is absolutely fine, too.
WHEN IS MY FIRST QUARTERLY MINIMUM DUE?
