Hello, and welcome to the Stampin’ Pretty Pals’ Blog Hop! This month our Design Team created projects showing “My Favorite Things” from any of the two current catalogs or the upcoming catalog in January. We hope you enjoy and will be inspired by them! My project today was designed using one of my favorite bundles from the Stampin’ Up! 2020-21 Annual Catalog, the Arrange a Wreath Bundle. It is such a versatile bundle, something I can pull out all year long. The multi-seasonal little objects with coordinating dies are all so fun!

I decided to create a wintery post-Christmas thank-you card, something to carry me into January. I tried a new fun fold card by Lisa Curcio called the Arrow Flap Greeting Card. Lisa’s instructional video can be found HERE.

Here are the measurements for the card:

• Pacific Point (base): 4 1/4″ x 5 1/2″
• Mint Macaron (inside): 3 3/4″ x 5″
• Balmy Blue (gate fold): 4″ x 10 1/2″, score at 2 5/8″ & 7 7/8″
• Thick Whisper White (layer): 4 1/8″ x 5 3/8″
• Thick Whisper White (inside): 3 1/2″ x 4 3/4″
• Thick Whisper White: scrap for sentiment
• Designer Paper: 6″ x 6″, cut on the diagonal, score at 1/2″ on longest side

The ‘arrow flap’ of this card is made from folding the triangular-shaped “Let It Snow” DSP at the score line, as specified, and then adhering the flap over the gatefold and then attaching the gatefold to the Pacific Point card base. Once you make one project following Lisa’s instructions in the video, you’ll have it down!

I then cut out two wreath shapes from the Wreath Builder dies: one in Dazzling Diamonds Glimmer paper, and one using Mint Macaron cardstock. I also cut out a number of flowers from the dies using Pacific Point, arranging the whole thing on the arrow part of the flap.

The sentiment is from the Peaceful Moments stamp set, stamped onto the smallest Stitched Nested Labels Dies using Pacific Point ink. When you open the gatefold, there is room for a sentiment and writing inside.

I’m back today to feature another cute little card from one of my favoite stamp sets, called “A Merry Hello,” found in the Stampin’ Up! August-December Mini Catalog. I just love the art and sentiments!

For this little fun fold, I used Old Olive and Real Red Stamp Pads, and the darling Heartwarming Hugs Designer Series Papers for this project. These 12 X 12″ papers are super fun! The Stampin’ Up! coordinating colors are Mossy Meadow, Pear Pizzazz, Real Red, and Whisper White.

You know how it is when something just calls to you? Well, this darling little stamp set called “A Merry Hello” appealed to me from the very first time I saw the Stampin’ Up! August-December Mini Catalog. I just love the art and sentiments!

I had some fun trying a couple of projects. My first was a CASE (Copy and Share Everything) directly from the catalog, shown below:

And here are my cards! The first is very similar to the catalog sample.

I love how Stampin’ Up! has so many projects from which to gain inspiration! I used Old Olive and Pool Party papers, with Old Olive, Shaded Spruce, and Coastal Cabana ink pads. I also popped a sparkly piece of Coastal Cabana glimmer paper (retired) underneath the stamped image.

And here’s a second one, this time with a shot of Real Red ink, cardstock, and rhinestones. I love how the Real Red adds a bit of traditional feel to the card. I used two different greens – Old Olive, and Shaded Spruce as well.

The Stampin’ Up! Poinsettia Place Suite Bundle from the Stampin’ Up! 2020 August – December Holiday Mini Catalog is festive and absolutely BEAUTIFUL! The three-layered flower cuts out with one roll-through of your die-cutting machine, and the veined petals and leaves add such a realistic effect. Here are some of my latest creations, starting with a ‘traditional-style’ feel. The plaids add a country feel to the card, and the Wink of Stella gives a little sparkle.

Above is a card using the beautiful ‘flocked’ paper that goes with this suite. The paper comes in three different patterns — yummy!
