We are having fun with all the lovely new products in the new Stampin’ Up! Catalog. Hues of Happiness was the first Collection I ordered. Here’s a project for an upcoming wedding we are attending:

I started with a Basic White card base of 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, scored at 4 1/4″. I covered the front of the base with a panel of Hues of Happiness Designer Series papers.

The beautiful papers in this Suite Collection are some of my faves!

For the sentiment panel, I used a Basic White scrap and a brand new die from the bundle that creates a corrugated border of rectangles. I wove some Parakeet Party Metallic Ribbon in and out of the rectangles to give a stitched appearance. and then tied a bow at the corner. I love the unique effect!

The flowers are cut out using the dies from the die set, using the large flower-patterned design above. The different-sized flowers each have a die, which makes it so easy!

The sentiment is from the Hues of Happiness stamp set, stamped in Orchid Oasis. See below for all the products I used. Each product takes you directly to my website!

Finally! We can now order from the new Stampin’ Up! Annual Catalog! My first purchase was the Hues of Happiness Suite Collection, and one of my first cards with this beautiful collection was a card for my mom on Mother’s Day.

I recently challenged my Facebook group, the Up North Stampin’ Gang, to create their own Designer Series Paper by taking their favorite stamp set, their favorite colors, and then having some fun! I decided to make my paper using a new stamp set from the 2022-23 Annual Catalog and the new 2022-24 In Colors! Here is what I did:

I had a chance to play with the beautiful new Designer Series Paper from the new Stampin’ Up! Annual Catalog, orderable in May. This paper, called Hues of Happiness, is going to be super popular…such pretty color combinations! Here are two cards I just made:

Aren’t the colors so pretty? Wait until you see the rest of the papers! Here is a sneak peek of the entire suite, called the Happiness Abounds Bundle, along with the Hues of Happiness Designer Papers I mentioned above.

For these projects, I used only the papers from the product suite. Card 1 Details:

I used a Basic White card base of 8 1/2 by 5 1/2, scored at 4 1/4″. I adhered a panel of Hues of Happiness paper of 5 1/2″ by 4 1/4″ to the white card base. There are different shades in lovely color combinations!

I then cut out a number of flowers directly from the DSP using the coordinating dies. I love when I can stamp and cut my own, OR cut beautiful flowers right from the papers — so easy!

I used a tag from the Tailor Made Tags Dies on which to stamp a sweet sentiment. I then adhered two lovely flowers onto the tag. I then used some of the new 1/8″ In-Color Metallic Woven Ribbon to decorate the tag.

The second card was created in the same way, just a different color combination. So fun!

The Annual Catalog products will go LIVE in May. I already can’t wait! BUT don’t forget about the wonderful Tailor Made Tags Dies — they are about to retire, and they are a staple in any papercrafting room, believe me! Click below to start shopping with me!
