School is out here in Northern Minnesota, and Summer is a welcome season after a long, cold winter and very little Spring! I needed some quick and cute packaging for some small graduation gifts. I can always turn to my Stampin’ Room to find what I need. This time, I used the Timeless Tulips photopolymer stamp set and the Build a Butterfly Dies, along with the Tailor Made Dies to create my tag:
I used one of the largest tags from the Tailor Made Tags dies to create a tag, and then cut out a large butterfly in blue foil. I stamped the greeting from the Timeless Tulips stamp set, perfect for graduation, and then adhered the butterfly onto the tag.
I then used some silver curling ribbon to adhere the tag to the cellophane bag, and I was basically done. The blue butterflies shine so beautifully, and add a pretty touch to these feminine packages!

I’m still enjoying my new products from the Stampin’ Up! Annual Catalog, available almost three weeks ago. Today I’m featuring another fun card from one of my favorites — the Butterfly Kisses Suite Collection:
I began with a Fresh Freesia card base of 5 1/2″ by 8 1/2″, scored at 4 1/4″. I cut two panels from the Butterfly Kisses Designer Series Papers (found below): one at 1 1/4″ by 5 1/2″, and one at 2″ by 5″. You can make your strips and panels as large as you want to!
I cut out a Stitched Circle, and then cut out a butterfly from the DSP. The fun part is that you can build any kind of butterfly you want using the Best Butterflies dies, in any color combo.
I used white embossing powder to heat emboss the sentiment from on Calypso Coral card stock. I then cut it out using the Charming Sentiments dies. How cool are they – they cut around your sentiment just perfectly!
I will be using these absolutely adorable butterflies all summer – they’re modern and fresh, and there are so many options that you can build, both stamping and die cutting.

I had a special card to make for my husband on our anniversary, so I turned to the masculine papers of the new “He’s The Man” Designer Series Papers. This set of papers is unique in that it includes two 12×12″ sheets of pre-designed diecuts, to make a project even easier! Here’s the fun fold card I made him:
I used two patterns from the “He’s the Man” Designer Papers, plus Basic White cardstock. Notice the bellyband that goes around the middle. The circle graphic is one of the pre-cut die patterns that comes with the papers. So easy! When opened, you can see the stamped sentiment on the inside as well.
Here are the basic instructions:
Card base: 5 x 7, scored at 1/2”, 1 1/2”, 5 1/2” & 6 1/2”
Turn to 5” side and score in at 1/2”, stopping at the score line. There will be a scored square. Flip and do the other opposite 5” at the top, 1/2” at intersecting score line. Cut two squares out. Make an angled cut. Fold all the creases of the card base. (see video)
Take the larger white panels (2 x 5 1/2″) and adhere DSP to them (1 3/4 x 5 1/4”.) Then adhere to front thin strips on the card base. They should be even with top and bottom of card.
Floating mechanism: Take the other two white pieces that are 1 1/2 by 4 1/2” and score at 1/2” and 1” with short end at top (score long). Accordion fold for little tiny Z’s. Hold the one for the left like it’s an actual Z. Line up with the bottom of the DSP edge on the front center of card. Right Z has to be a mirror image so the Z has to be backwards. Adhere to card. (See video!)
Panels that will ‘float’: Take the white panels at 1 1/2” by 5 1/4” and the DSP panels at 1 1/4” by 5”. Adhere to each other, then adhere to Z panels FLUSH WITH THE BOTTOM OF THE CARD and centered.
The bellyband is 1” by 9 1/2”, (DSP) folded around the card. Use Tear n Tape to seal the bellyband, making sure you can remove it easily from around the card. Decorate the belly band!
These papers are truly gorgeous. See the upper left panel? Those are the diecut images that you simply punch out:

Your spring and summer card designs are all taken care of in this beautiful Suite Collection called Butterfly Kisses. I fell in love with it the moment I saw it in the new Annual Stampin’ Up! Catalog. Today I’m featuring two simple cards that you can make in no time, both relying heavily on the CUTE Designer Series Papers:

Both cards start with a 5 1/2″ x 4 1/4″ panel of Butterfly Kisses Designer Series Papers. For the top card I then built a butterfly using the dies, creating a white-outline with a pattern underneath. I adhered that butterfly onto a Bumblebee banner, and stamped a sentiment in Night of Navy. I then added a bow using the 2022-24 In Color Baker’s Twine. Easy and fun!
For the second card, I simply created a sentiment panel from Tasteful Labels Dies in Fresh Freesia cardstock, stamped in Night of Navy. To finish, I added some white baker’s twine at the back of the sentiment panel and added it to the card base.
I will be using these absolutely adorable butterflies all summer – they’re modern and fresh, and there are so many options that you can build, both stamping and die cutting.

True Beauty Step-by-Step
Just Because Card (4-1/4″ x 5″)
Celebrating friendship with a handmade card has never been easier than with the True Beauty Bundle to inspire you. CASUAL To create the casual version of our Just Because card, start by folding Basic White Cardstock in half; stamp the floral image in Pale Papaya ink on another layer of Basic White Cardstock, then adhere it to the card front. Add die-cut flowers and a sentiment, plus a few In Color Opal Rounds to finish off this simply stunning card.
AVID Step up our second card by creating a wash background using Shimmery White Cardstock, Pale Papaya ink, and Water Painters. Let the background dry before stamping the beautiful floral image.
ARTFULLY AVID Our most detailed card features the stamped wash background die cut using the lattice shape from the Organic Beauty Dies. Instead of the lattice, however, we used the die’s negative pieces to create this unique background with fancy diamond shapes. We also used a layer of Basic White Cardstock embossed using the Brick & Mortar 3D Embossing Folder for extra dimension.

Notice how the design of the stamps helps you create the watercolor effect, with darker and lighter shades. Layering different colors gives you even more options. There’s something about pretty shades of blue that are attractive to me. That’s why when I saw the beautiful new Sun Prints Designer Series papers, I had to order them. The lovely combinations of Starry Sky, Pacific Point, Night of Navy, and White are so striking. Here’s a card I made, inspired by Akiko Sudono:
I used three different panels of the Sun Prints DSP: The background is 5 3/8″ by 4 1/8.” The Grey Granite panel is 4″ by 3 1/4,” and the longer patterned strip is 5 1/2″ by 3.” I embossed the Grey Granite piece with the new Fern 3D Embossing Folder before adhering.
The flowers were die cut out of the Meadow Dies using Basic White, Starry Sky, Orchid Oasis, and Grey Granite card stock. I simply layered them into a bouquet. I stamped a sentiment in Starry Sky ink onto a scrap of Basic White, and cut out using a Scalloped Contours Die. I popped on some Basic Pearls, and my card was done. These papers are truly gorgeous:

Welcome to the Stampin’ Pretty Pals’ Blog Hop! This month, the theme is New 2022-2024 In Colors. We really hope that you will be inspired by all the amazing creations the Pals are sharing with you! As you hop from blog to blog, we would love for you to leave a comment. You will find the lineup at the end of my post to help you “hop” along from Pal to Pal.
I’m sure you’ve heard the buzz about the new In Colors, and for good reason. They are beautiful, vibrant, and easy to infuse into the other Stampin’ Up! color palettes. Today, I chose a project that features all five of these beautiful colors:
I started with a Basic White card base in an A2 size, scored at 4 1/4.” I cut two pieces of Designer Series Papers: one in the Sun Prints stripe at 3″ x 5 1/2,” and one of the Tea Boutique 6 x 6″ Designer Series Papers in the blue pattern at 4″ x 3 1/4.” I took the blue sheet and embossed it with the new Fern 3D Embossing Folder.
After adhering those two pieces, I cut out some of the pretty die cuts from the Meadows Dies in white, using the Shimmer Paper. I watercolored them in Parakeet Party, Orchid Oasis, Tahitian Tide, and Sweet Sorbet, using one of the Waterpainters.
After arranging the flowers on the card front, (with a single white butterfly that I painted with Wink of Stella), I used a scrap of Starry Sky card stock and embossed a sentiment using white embossing powder. I cut out the sentiment with a die from the Meadows Dies, and added white baker’s twine and some iridescent rhinestones.
Using the new In Colors, I was able to take a classic bundle that has carried over from the last catalog, and make it new and fresh. I just LOVE the new colors, don’t you?
