Today I am featuring a second project using a free product you can earn with a $50 purchase of $50 during the entire month. 

Isn’t this soft and springy?  UNLIKE the day outside?  I used a Soft Sea Foam card base and Whisper White Thick card stock panel on top of the Sea Foam.  Using an additional panel of Whisper White, cut to 3 3/4″ by 5″, I took the Soft Sea Foam Ink Pad, opened it, and patted it ON the embossing folder, only on the side where the flowers are INDENTED, not RAISED.  When you get an even coat of ink onto the embossing folder, carefully place the Whisper White panel onto the embossing folder, and run it through the Big Shot as usual.  This is the effect you will get:

And you could do that with ANY color!  I just LOVE the look!   The sentiment is from the Incredible You stamp set, and the punch is the Pretty Label punch.  ALL the supplies are listed at the bottom of this post!

Hi, Stampers!  Another snowstorm today….is it ever going to end?  Maybe that’s why I have been concentrating on some springy projects to show you in the next couple of days.

I’m featuring three projects in the next days using a beautiful new product that you can earn FREE until the end of March.  The Country Floral Textured Impressions Embossing Folder makes the most beautiful floral embossed designs.  So spring-like!

Here’s what a sheet of cardstock looks like as I passed it through the Big Shot — isn’t this beautiful?  Imagine it in many different shades!

I used Mango Melody and Balmy Blue to create this card. I then took my new Butterfly Duo punch (coming out again soon!) and punched two butterflies that coordinate with these colors and placed them on the panels.  The branch is from the Seasonal Layers Thinlits, and the sentiment is from the Butterfly Gala Stamp Set.  The supplies for this card are found at the bottom of this post!  Tomorrow – a different technique using this Embossing Folder!

I’ve been featuring projects from the new stamp set found in the SU! Occasions Catalog called Fable Friends.  This third project is a pillow box perfecting for gift cards or small presents, even party favors!  The Kraft Pillow Boxes from Stampin’ Up! are perfect for this kind of project!

How do you like this Mr. Squirrel??  Cutest squirrel EVER, right?

I built this Birthday Gift Box from one of our Kraft Pillow Boxes.  They’re so easy to work with.  I took a strip of paper from the Botanical Butterflies Designer Series Papers and wrapped around the pillow box.  I then cut a strip of Glimmer Paper and placed across the front of the box.

From there, I cut an oval from a scrap of Thick Whisper White card stock using the Stitched Shapes Framelits Dies.  I stamped the squirrel stamp from the Fable Friends Stamp Set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink, and used Stampin’ Blends to color him in.  (See colors below)

I punched a butterfly out of the Botanical Butterfly Designer Series Papers with the Butterfly Duet punch — so easy!  Using a glue dot, I popped the butterfly onto the oval and used a small embellishment.  I tied a bow with the Braided Linen Trim and frayed the ends of the bow, popping that on with a glue dot as well.  The sentiment is from the Varied Vases stamp set, and I used a banner from an older Paper Pumpkin Kit.  You can use any banner you’d like, and any sentiment you’d like, depending on what your Pillow Box is for!

Honestly, someone is not sending enough Spring VIBES to Mother Nature!  Another stormy, blizzard-y day here in Northern Minnesota.  I have a second card in my three-part series featuring a new stamp set called Fable Friends.  This one starts a Mama Duck with her three spring ducklings!

For this fun card, I created three rectangle panels using the Rectangle Stitch Framelits Dies.  Any size will do, depending on what you want them to look like.  I stamped the figures in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink, and then colored the in with Blends — the sky’s the limit, depending on what color combo you want to use.

The card base is made from Grapefruit Grove cardstock.  I put another rectangle of Grapefruit Grove through my Big Shot using the Subtle Dynamic Textures Embossing Folder.  I LOVE the soft texture it gives the card stock — so rich looking! I also adhered a panel of the Grapefruit Grove Gingham Gala Designer Series Paper onto the card base.  If you haven’t gotten your hands on this paper yet, do so before it runs out!  It’ll carry beautifully through the entire summer!

I then popped the three rectangle panels onto the card after stamping my cute sentiment onto one of the rectangles.  The sentiments include an Easter Greeting, a Spring Greeting, a Friend Sentiment, and a Baby sentiment.  So so fun!

I’ll be featuring a three-part series on a new stamp set called Fable Friends.  How about this bunny?  Doesn’t it look like something straight out of Aesop’s Fables?

The sweet animals in this set captured my heart the moment I saw them in the Occasions Catalog!

I started my card with a card base of Coastal Cabana.  I added a panel of Flirty Flamingo of 5 3/8″ by 4 1/8″, and then made my own ‘designer paper’ on a panel of Whisper White Cardstock measuring 5 1/4″ by 4″.  I used the Bloom by Bloom stamp set to make stamp flowers in Flirty Flamingo with leaves in Lemon Lime Twist and little slowers in Pineapple Punch.  Fun to stamp!

The bunny was stamped on a scrap piece of Shimmer White Card Stock using Tuxedo Black Memento Ink.  I think had a lot of fun coloring the rabbit with Stampin’ Blends — have fun using any color combination you want to!  I cut the rabbit out using the new Rectangle Stitched Framelits dies and then mounted it onto a panel of Coastal Cabana.  I popped it onto the card after adhering a 1 3/4″ by 4″ piece of Lemon Lime Twist Gingham Gala Designer Series Paper to the card base.

Tons of fun!  I finished the card with a few Gingham Gala Adhesive Backed Sequins and some Flirty Flamingo ribbon.  The Fable Friends is going to be a spring staple for a long time in my craft room!  The supplies I used are at the bottom of this post.
