It’s wonderful to see the harvest starting all around the countryside.  I love this time of year in many ways!  This card reflects the beauty of the Harvest Season using some great new products from the 2018 Stampin’ Up! Holiday Catalog.  Make sure to let me know if you don’t have yours yet!  I will get you one right away!  ORDERING BEGINS ON SEPTEMBER 5!

The Country Lane suite includes a milk can and pitcher upon which you can stamp two different bouquets.  It’s perfect for coloring, whether you want to try your Stampin’ Blends, markers, or watercolor pencils.  The Designer Series Papers compliment the soft fall colors beautifully.

I used a card base of Blackberry Bliss, and took a strip of the brand new Galvanized Metal Paper and ran it through the Big Shot using the new Tin Tile Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder — a big title for a wonderful product!  You’ll LOVE the way it looks like a piece of vintage tin tile.  Super cool!

I stamped the milk can and bouquet images using Memento Tuxedo Black ink on a rectangle of Thick Whisper White card stock — this can be any size you’d like.  I backed that with a rectangle of Old Olive card stock that was 1/4″ larger than the white panel.  I used the Stampin’ Blends to create a bouquet — this is where you can have so much fun!  Use your Color Imagination to create all kinds of combinations!

The sentiment is a simple rectangle of Whisper White cardstock stamped in Blackberry Bliss.  I finished off with a bow of Linen Thread (two strands), and some Clear Epoxy Droplets!  A fun card, and I just loved the coloring process!

This Autumn Sampler uses all current Stampin’ Up! products, and is 9″ X 9″ in size.  You will create the entire sampler during the class with all of my products and papers, using a number of current stamp sets, dies, and embellishments.

Finding life balance can be pretty tricky these days, and it’s all too easy to forget what matters most — like sharing your love with friends and family.  Our Blissful Blooms August 2018 Paper Pumpkin kit, with its drenched-in-watercolor cards (the original was handpainted), gorgeous lined envelopes, and silver foil trim — plus tags you can hand stamp yourself, add that extra bit of love and thoughtfulness to a note directly from you.  (Who creates and handwrites cards anymore?  You do!  Your friends are going to think you’re from another planet or something!  But they’ll like it!

I got my August Paper Pumpkin Kit from Stampin’ Up! in the mail yesterday and I dug right in!  I love this kit!  Such a beautiful array of colors in floral patterns!  The kit contained all of the materials needed to make 10 (yes ten!!) full-size A2 cards with silver edged envelopes!

The kit also had an exclusive Blissful Blooms stamp set and a Blackberry Bliss Stampin’ Spot.  I know I’ll be using this set again, and Blackberry Bliss is one of my faves! Can you tell I’ve already given mine some use? I love the beautiful Sympathy sentiment – I will use this a ton!

Halloween Paper Pumpkin Kit – Coming in September!

I just had to show you a sneak peek using a couple of my new favorites from the 2018 Holiday Catalog.  Have you received yours yet?  If you would like to receive a copy, just let me know by emailing me at marya2hanson@gmail.com.   Take a look at what I’ve been playing with:

The Frosted Floral Designer Papers are some of the loveliest I’ve seen – they are actually glimmery (is that a word?) with a little sparkle to the lovely floral patterns.  I can’t wait for you to see them in person!

This card is built on a card base of Gray Granite with a slightly smaller panel of Tranquil Tide card stock.  The next layer is one of the patterns from the Frosted Floral Specialty Designer Series Papers.  From there, I cut out some leaves from the dies in the Frosted Bouquet Framelits Dies in vellum, Tranquil Tide, and Granny Apple Green cardstock.

Can you see how this paper shimmers?  So beautiful!  I cut out a rectangle from the Framelits in Dazzling Diamonds Glimmer Paper, and then stamped a sentiment from the beautiful new stamp set called Country Home in Tranquil Tide ink.  The fonts are gorgeous!  I then cut that sentiment out as well, offset the two panels, and popped the top one up with some Dimensionals.  From there, I simply adhered a few of the new Frosted and Clear Epoxy Droplets (LOVE), and done!

This is my third and final post on a new bundle called A Big Thank You.  My card today is built with two new favorite colors of mine, Coastal Cabana and Pineapple Punch.

The bundle includes a stamp set with great sentiments and images, along with a single die that says it all!  I created my own background using the floral stamps from the stamp set.  Notice the two-step stamping of both the Coastal Cabana and Pineapple flowers.  Easy!

I cut out two Thank You sentiments from both Coastal Cabana and Basic Black cardstock and offset one with the other, gluing them on to the card base.  The “So Much” is heat embossed in white embossing powder onto black card stock and cut out.  I added a Basic Black Shimmer Ribbon around the card before affixing it to the Whisper White Thick Card Base.  The Black Rhinestones add just a touch of “Bling.”

This card started with a card base of Gray Granite with a panel of Petal Pink measured at 4″ X 5 1/4″ and then a layer of the granite-design from the Petal Promenade Designer Series Paper.  It really adds a nice textured look to the card.  In addition, this design picks up the Petal Pink background beautifully!

I cut out the Thank You sentiment from the Champagne Foil Paper and attached to the card.  The sentiment “You Are the Best” is stamped in Gray Granite ink on a scrap of Petal Pink and punched out with the Everyday Label punch — so handy!  I gathered a little Linen Thread behind it, and then added two pearls to set it off.

I think I write Thank You cards more than any other kind of card.  If you’re like me, this new bundle from the Annual Catalog will become a staple in your craft room.  The bundle includes a stamp set with great sentiments and images, along with a single die that says it all!

This card is built using PURPLES!  I love both new purple inks from the Color Revamp.  I used a card base of Highland Heather and then added a quick length of Polka Dot Tulle Ribbon to the panel before adding a panel of Basic Black cardstock along with a Whisper White.  You could use any size panels you want, depending on your preference.

I cut the Thank You sentiment die out of Granny Apple Green and adhered it to the card panels.  I then inked a Daisy pattern from the Daisy Delight Stamp Set in Gorgeous Grape onto Gorgeous Grape card stock.  I punched out two daisies, both the patterned one and a solid one and layered it onto the card.  I stamped a Daisy center in Daffodil Delight ink, and fussy cut it out.

Add a couple of embellishments of your choice, and you have a card that is PRETTY IN PURPLES! Click on any product below to order now!
